Puerto La Cruz

South America! Wow!! What a feeling. I had always wanted to go to Venezuela. We were now getting ready for what would be the beginning of an experience that I will never forget.
This picture was taken from the GAETA PLAYA Hotel in Puerto La Cruz. Its top floor restaurant offers spectacular views of the city and the sea. We did not stay here very long because we had to pick up our car at the Melia Hotel.
