Who is Nickel?
Once upon a time in a little German town there was an orphan child. He lived in an orphanage until one day a friendly scientist came and adopted him. The nice gentleman named him Kupfernickel, which means false copper. During this time Kupfernickel was going to elementary school, and many know how cruel kids can be, they made fun of his odd name. There was not a thing wrong with him, he was normal in every way except the fact that they didn't like his name. One day this little girl, one of his classmates, started calling him Nickel, for short, which clicked to the other students. Nobody made fun of him afterwards, actually he was rather popular, and especially attracted the ladies. Some time later, when he was in high school, he started to date that little girl he was a friend with in elementary school. They fell deeply in love and spent all of their time together.
After graduation, when they were about 28, they got married and had a huge wedding, the honeymoon, the works. Then, one day they had a baby and from then after they had a whole bunch of kids. One grew up to be a steelworker in Pittsburgh; another became a security guard at the White House (he never told any information, if you know what I mean). One made coins in the mint in San Francisco, Babs, his only daughter, made storage batteries, and there are more children where these came from. They were all very professional at their jobs and due to that they lived very luxurious lives.
The lovely couple was very pleased with the way their family turned out. They got to watch all of the children grow to be very prosperous and helpful. Sadly, over the years the rest of his family finally went off on their own. Mr. Nickel stayed fit and traveled to fill up his time. He had silvery white hair he was still flexible, strong, and an all around warm-hearted guy. His wife and he both lived happily ever after.
