Tommy Gunn (Tommy Morrison) played a very important role in Rocky Five. A strong hard hitting fighter, he gained enough of Rocky's respect that Rocky became his manager. He worked his way up winning fight after fight by some stunning knockouts. All the while, Tommy inadvertantly became more important to Rocky than Adrian and his son. Even though Rocky taught Tommy, Tommy never had the heart that Rocky did. Soon enough Tommy got caught up in money, greed, and lust, and forgot about pride and honor. Winning the title wasn't enough for Tommy, he had to beat Rocky Balboa himself. He challenges Rocky to a fight anywhere any time and then hits Pauly. This enrages Rocky enough to get into a street fight with Tommy. Rocky wins in the end and Tommy Gunn's boxing career comes to an end.
