This is a bouquet of the herbs Chinese use most frequently in their cooking. Chili Pepper, Coriander, Garlic, Garlic Chives, Ginger, Scallions, Sesame and Star Anise are essential in defining their cuisine. Soy sauce, Water chestnuts, Rice, Bamboo Shoots, Tea, Rice Wine, Chopsticks and a Wok can be found on most Chinese tables, from a simple meal at home to a banquet of 10 to 14 courses at the Imperial palace.
