This is a bouquet of the herbs the Germans use most frequently in their cooking. Caraway, Dill, Horseradish, Juniper, Savory, Marjoram, Allspice and Parsley are essential in defining their cuisine. Potatoes, Pork, Cabbage, Sausage, Beer and Wine are found on the most German tables, from towering castles to cozy bier gartens. Bay, Celery, Chives, Cinnamon, Cloves, Leeks, Mustard, Nutmeg, Onion, Sage, Thyme and Woodruff would complete their herb gardens.
