Giles is the brain of the gang, he brings maturity and common sense to them. He's always alert in case some evil force is around and he has the duty not only to watch but to prepare, to train and guide the slayer, and that is not always easy! :) He has a lot of patience and he takes his mission very seriously. In the course of time we get to know a little more about him and his personal life.
