About White Stone Productions

White Stone Productions began in February, 1989, in Toronto, Ontario, with the purpose of speaking to the lost through drama. We are a group of writers, directors, actors, technicians and musicians who want to share The Truth through the arts. We are dedicated to performing only high quality, professional dramas. Music is a very important part of our work. Our desire is to remain on the cutting edge with music and drama intertwining in a unique form of art. Most of our work is original material. Most of our music is written by Jeff Johnson (Ark Records) and Day 3 (Tony Green & Bill Burgess)

Bruce & Trish Warren moved to the Vancouver area in January, 1995. They scouted out a new troupe, and by the summer of 1995 White Stone Productions was in full force again. The summer started with various productions in the parks, and even a two day run at the White Rock Arts Festival. After the summer, they geared up for "A Medieval Dessert Theatre", a 2 1/2 hour production which was performed at Club Jericho in November, 1995.

Six months later White Stone Productions performed "Once Upon a Time" at the Port Moody Civic Theatre, in June, 1996. This was a 2 1/2 hour production about a girl named Hope, who searches high in the mountains for Wisdom, to answer an important question.

In November, 1996, White Stone Productions did a fund raiser called "A Victorian Christmas" Dinner Theatre, where the audience was wined and dined with most elegant food, and solved a Victorian Mystery.

In February 1997, White Stone did a Romantic Valentine Dinner Theatre, where excerpts of Romeo & Juliet were performed, and the audience enjoyed a romantic meal of fondue and wine. In between the Romeo and Juliet scenes, the audience shared their own romantic stories. The most romantic couple was awarded with a "Romantic Kit" at the end of the evening.

In the summer of 1997, White Stone did "Rejection" as an outreach event in various places in the Vancouver area.

Currently White Stone is rehearsing for it's summer tour of "Once Upon A Time" in July 1998.

White Stone Productions professionally trains its own actors and technicians while giving them "hands on experience". This service is provided to those who have a passion for the arts, and presenting Truth to the world.
