The Book of Daniel is a horror novel I've been working on for the past 8-10 years-- not continuously, (we're not talking War & Peace, for crying out loud) but every now and then, taking it out of my closet, where it resides (too) much of the time.
The story concerns my protagonist, Dan Logan, a widower with 2 kids and a dog, still in deep despair over his loss and searching for some inner peace and happiness. Unfortunately (for Dan), we also have Sharon Weller, an evil woman, who needs to use Dan and his family to gain occult powers.
The plan is to upload various chapters, scenes, character sketches, etc., for your reading pleasure and for critiques. Maybe then, (please, please, please) I will finally finish this book and get on with my life (& get these crazy people out of my closet, for once and for all!) At that time, I'm hoping some new people will move in, and the whole process can begin anew...
