My name is Krysten Jai Fontroy. I'm ten years old, and I'm in the sixth grade at
Spruce Hill Christian School. My teacher's name is Ms. Christian. She's new to the school, but I've been going to Spruce Hill since I was in the kindergarten. I also have teachers for music, gym and computer lab. My music teacher's name is Mr. Faulkner. My gym teacher is Ms. Trott. Mr. Cohen is the Principal.In the fourth grade, I joined the school band. I was learning how to play the clarinet, but I stopped going to band practice. I also learned how to play the recorder when I was in the third grade.
Before I started at Spruce Hill, I went to the University City Montessori School.
I go to church at the
First Corinthian Baptist Church. My grandfather is the pastor. I call him "Pop-Pop." I call my grandmom "Mom-Mom." They're my Mom's parents. I call my other grandmom "Nana." At church, I sing on the Sunday School Choir and I'm a Junior Usher. I was baptized when I was seven.
When I'm not in school, in church, or in the house doing homework or driving my mom crazy, I'm usually playing with my friends in the
neighborhood.

I like to play. I roller blade, jump rope, ride my bike, play hand games, and play on the computer.
I also like to watch tv. Some of my favorite shows are Sister Sister, Malcolm in the Middle, The Amanda Show, All That, Moesha, and The Parkers.
