On Sunday night (Feb 21) I went to the Poughkeepsie, NY show. It was so awesome. Stretch Princess opened for them and they were really good. Before the show my friend and I saw the drummer from Stretch Princess playing soccer by the tour buses, he was really good, but anyway... after they finished, Marvelous 3 came on and they were soooo energetic... the lead singer got up there and his hair was spiky and black, by the end of their set his hair was plastered down in his head and he was raining sweat and steaming (literally, there was steam coming off him). So then Eve 6 got on. I had a spot right in front of Jon, and I really enjoyed it. Sometimes the crowd got wild, but that's to be expected with a great band like Eve6. They opened with Open Road Song then did a few others (including Promise, the new one) Then they did an acoustic set featuring There's a Face and I Touch Myself. It sounded really great, Tony came up front and played the bongo drums! After those two songs they went back to the norm and played out the rest of the set. Before they were about to play Inside Out, Max told everyone that had a lighter to get it out and light it, cuz this song was really sentimental, then they started jamming! It was so great. And then after Inside Out they finished it up with the usual SuperHero Girl. It was an amazing concert! They were so awesome. | ||
