I have selected these photos of the Iwo Jima Flag
Raising in tribute to a true American Hero. Mr. Charles Lindberg is the Marine
standing to the right of the flag. He is the last surviving member of either flag
raising. Neither he nor the other Marines in these Photographs have ever received
the credit that they deserve because of the Rosenthal photograph. Mr. Lindberg is a
gracious, kind, generous true American Legend and he deserves our honor and respect along
with our thanks and admiration.
