Raymondskill Falls

Raymondskill Falls is a series of waterfalls dropping Raymondskill Creek to the Delaware.  The largest waterfall is reported to drop over 105 feet. The property is owned by the National Park Service and is open year round.

Adventurous hikers may access the falls at the bottom by parking at the intersection of US - 209 and Raymondskill Road (SR 2009) which is about 2.5 miles south of Milford.  Hiking up the creek will reveal several smaller falls before arriving at the main falls.

WARNING:  Hiking up the creek is not recommended for people who are not experienced and not in great physical shape.

Less adventurous hikers may access the falls from a couple of well defined trails along Raymondskill Road.  Look for the NPS parking lots on the left hand side of the road.  Note, these trails are still steep and rugged.  They should not be taken by people who are not in moderately good shape.

WARNING:   Cell phones do not operate along the Raymondskill Creek and service is very spotty on Raymondskill Road.  Avoid getting yourself into situations where you will need emergency help.

Finally, adventurous hikers may also access the falls from the top where Raymondskill Road crosses the creek.  The top of the falls may be seen downstream of the road.  Do not hike upstream from there as you would soon enter private property.
