Pike County Waterfalls

Hackers Falls

Hackers Falls is on the Raymondskill Creek upstream of Raymondskill Falls.  The main waterfall (pictured below) is over 20 feet in height with smaller waterfalls immediately downstream.

Hikers may access the falls by parking in the NPS designed parking lot located on SR-2001 just a couple miles south of Milford.  The wide trail makes a gentle climb before leveling off and following the ridge for a quarter mile or so.

At the cul-de-sac, the fun begins.  Viewers must take a steep hiking trail to get to the falls.  Be sure to wear good shoes and take it slow if you are not in good shape.

Once at the main falls, follow the trail downstream to see the lesser falls.

WARNING:   Although cell phones should receive a signal along the large trail on the ridge, the signal may disappear as you descend into the gorge.

Note:  The accompanying photo makes the falls look much smaller than they really are.
