The Waterfalls on Toms Creek

Although the volume does not measure up to that of neighboring streams, Toms Creek has a series of small falls that plunge for over 500 feet to the Delaware

Visitors should take US-209 through the National Park Service Delaware Water Gap - National Recreation Area to Toms Creek Road.  Park at the Toms Creek picnic grounds.  At the picnic grounds visitors may hike along the creek until they start observing the waterfalls.  Hiking along the creek soon becomes quite steep and should only be undertaken by experienced hikers who are in good shape.

WARNING:  Hiking up the creek is not recommended for people who are not experienced and not in great physical shape.

WARNING:   Cell phones do not operate along the Toms Creek and service is very spotty along the roads.  Avoid getting yourself into situations where you will need emergency help.
