Hello, and welcome to my crystals page.
I have a bit of an affinity for crystals, I have a large
assortment, and I use them in my Magickal practices.
I believe that crystals have power in them, and that power
can be used to help you get what you want to achieve.
So here is a list of crystals that tells you what each one
is basically for.
Aventurine~ Green: Soothes emotions, used for
the heart and heartache, for the acceptance of self and
others, for inner peace.
Agate~ Varied colors: Compels truth, promotes
good manners, happiness, intelligence, prosperity,
longevity, fertility and good health.
Bloodstone~ Green-red: Offers coarage,
endurance, harmony, used to stop bleeding, helps in making
decisions, for moving kundalini energy, and to invoke peace
in all who are drawn to it.
Citrine~ Golden: Generates radiant happy
vibrations, helps thoughts to be clear and emotions
controlled, raises thinking to intuitive levels.
Chrysoprase~ Green: Has a quality of
compassion and a capasity for fine attunement, also works
to absorb or deflect unwanted energies.
Fluorite~ Clear, Blue, Purple:
Multi-dimentional stone, balances and integrates lower
(human) self with the higher (spiritual) self, good for
meditation over 3rd eye chakra.
Garnet~ Red: Stimulates happiness, peace,
balance, patience, inspiration, persistance, love and
friendship.
Hematite~ Grey-black: A very grounding stone,
very cooling to the physical body, alleviates worry and
anxiety as it allows for mental clarity, often known as the
'worry stone'.
Herkimer 'Diamond'~ Clear: Special variety of
quartz crystal that is very balancing, often known as the
'dream crystal', aids in bringing teachings of the dream
state into conscious awarness, very highly attuned
spiritually.
Jasper~ Red, Yellow, Brown: Associated with
relaxation, contentment, compassion, nurturing,
consolation, tranquility, completion, wholeness, healing,
and gentle endings, good for someone who needs
organizational skills.
Lapis Lazuli~ Blue: Assists in opening and
clarifying your 3rd eye vision, provides strength, vitality
and self-assurance.
Malachite~ Green: Augments loyalty,
leadership ability, protection, subconscious wisdom,
comfort, balance, peace, sensitivity, emotional maturity,
self understanding, and healing.
Moonstone~ White Pastel: Has a calming effect
on the emotions, assists in stimulating the feeling
(intuitive) nature.
Obsidian~ Black-snowflake: Used to sharpen
both internal and external vision, one of the most
important 'teachers' of the New Age stones, teaches of
truth and your relationship with your ego, it depicts the
contrasts of life, day-night, truth-error.
Peridot~ Green, Yellow/Green: Used for
protection, prosperity, happiness, emotional calming,
purifies and balances.
Pyrite~ Gold: Is very protecting and
sheilding and works on all levels.
Quartz~ Clear: All purpose, all healing,
amplifies thought and forms a protective sheild around the
auric feild, excelent meditation stone.
Rose Quartz~ Pink: Comforts heart from all
wounds, helps heal emotional pain and suffering, enhances
love, self love, it is for joy and oneness,
helpfulness.
Smokey Quartz~ Black-grey: Eases depression
and fear, clears the aura, very grounding stone, gives you
possitive outlooks.
Sodalite Blue: Encourages rational thinking,
logic, intelligence, clarity, truth and perception, higher
knowledge and wisdom.
Tiger's Eye~ Brown w/Gold highlights:
Protects, gives you clear thoughts, willpower, and it is a
grounding stone.
Topaz~~ Yellow: Takes away negativity, mood
elevator, revitalizes, stimulates your creativity.
Tourmaline~ Varied colors: Works as a
protective sheild, transforms and consumes negative
energies, works with visions and 'seeing' with compassion,
good for the eyes, teaches to expand limited concepts of
thinking, relates to aspirations for higher love, it is a
very complete stone.
Turquoise Aqua: Known as the 'sky stone', it
is excellent for both spiritual attunement and for healing,
valuable for grounding as well as for vision quests and
astral travel, purifies all levels of your being.
Amethyst~ Violet: Calming, grounding, a
cleanser and spiritual stimulator, yin yang balance,
strengthens heart, helps stengthen psychic abilities.
You can get crystals and stones just about anywhere these
days, I get mine at a local farmers market and my local
occult shop. Be sure when you buy one that it 'feels'
right to you. Don't buy one if when you pick it up it
doesn't feel like it is connected. And the same goes for
the store you buy it at, if you're in a store and it just
feels wrong, don't buy anything there! The stones, or
whatever else you buy, will carry that negative energy with
it and lessen the power of the stone.
Crystals are also used a lot today with healing. You can
go to a crystal healer and get your problems take care of
there. Mostly they use the crystals to absorb and draw out
the negative, destructive energies that are circulating
through your body, and replace them with good energies, by
opening up your power centers and allowing the healing,
loving energies to enter in you.
There are many ways to use these crytals for your benifit.
Many just pick the ones with the qualities they are trying
to bring into their lives and put them in a bag to carry
around with them everywhere they go.
Others choose the type of stone that is needed and wear it
as a talisman or a ring.
Be sure you find one that is reputible, and knows what they
are doing. Someone that opens up your centers and doesn't
do it correctly could leave you vulnerable to other
energies that are undesirerable.
