Merry Meet!
Welcome to my Paganism page, here you will find an
assortment of
different links to lots of different Pagan, Wiccan, and
Goddess
pages here on the web!
I call myself an Eclectic Pagan, where as I combine many
paths and
traditions to get what works for me. I use Celtic Wicca,
Arthurianism, Druidism, and some Celtic Shamanism. All I
mix
together and I have found a path that works for me...
So I hope you enjoy... and keep coming back because I find
new
pages, I will be adding and updating my list..
Merry Part!
The room begins to darken,
No, it is not the dusk.
For even now, I hear the cock stirring atop his post,
They tell me the candles burn bright as the Sun at high
noon;
Yet, their light seems to me as dull as my hair that once
shone like gold,
and is now gray as the storm clouds of the sea.
Faces fade in and out of my weakening vision;
faces of my childhood,
faces of those I loved.
My clawlike hand grips another's tightly,
a hand smooth and soft as mine once was.
Flickerflickerflickerflicker
I blink.
And see a beautiful girl-child holding my hand.
Her skin is smooth to the touch,
and laughter sparkles in Her emerald eyes.
Her long, silky hair cascades down Her back in loose
waves,
and a wreath spun of spring buds adorns Her untroubled
bow.
Her slim form, barely beginning to ripen into
womanhood,
reminds me of my youth.
She smiles gently
and whispers a word.
Maiden.
Flickerflickerflickerflicker
I blink,
and see a woman.
Her steady hazel eyes comfort me.
The laugh lines around Her eyes and mouth are clear and
beautiful.
Her thick hair is bound in a braid
and a circlet of gold rests upon Her brow.
Her rounded belly reveals the life nestled inside.
She bends close to me,
and places Her smooth lips on my withered cheek.
She whispers.
Mother.
Flickerflickerflickerflicker
I blink,
and see a face all too like my own;
Her cheeks are hallow and Her skin withered.
She leans upon a great staff,
Her clawlike hands grasping it as if it were life
itself.
Her eyes burn with a gentle intensity,
and as I gaze into them,
I see the Wise Woman,
She geatures
and whispers.
Crone.
Flickerflickerflickerflicker
I blink.
And see Them.
The Three.
Maiden
Mother
Crone
The Three who are One.
As one, they beckon me;
and I feel my spirit stir in response.
The Maiden whispers
Come with us, Mother.
The Mother whispers
Join your compainions, Sister.
The Crone whispers
Do not be afraid, my daughter.
I sigh and close my eyes
My soul rises and greets the Three
And apon each of Their bows
the cresent blazes,
ans I know that it burns upon my brow as well.

'The 21 Lessons of Merlyn' by Douglas Monroe, this book
gives lessons as they were to be taught to a Young King
Arthur by Merlyn. It is more Druidic then Wiccan, but it
is still a very informative book.
'Celtic Magic' by D.J. Conway, this is a good book to start
out on, even if you do not follow a Celtic path.
'Ancient Magicks for a New Age' by Alan Richardson and
Geoff Hughes, it's a two part book, each half written by
the two authors, who had similar experiences.
'True Magick' by Amber K, this is a book to start out with
to learn the very basics of Wicca and Magick.
'The Magic of Believing' by Claude Bristol, first published
after the wars were over, this book gave people a new way
to think and to try and improve their lives.
'Seidways' by Jan Fies, not a book for the beginner, this
book has mental techniques to use in life to attain what
you want out of your life.
'Earth Magic' by Marion Weinstein, there are other books
that go along with this one by the same author, but I found
this book to be my favorite.
'Bucklands Complete Book of Witchcraft' by Buckland,
otherwise known as 'the big blue book', this is good for
starters as well, it has mostly rites in it for covens and
not solitaries.
'Magical Rites from the Crystal Well' by Ed Fitch, this is
a book that contains different rites for a variety of
subjects. Plus it has great art work in it, that is what
drew me to this book the most.
'High Magics Aid' by Scire/Gerald Gardener, this was one of
the first fiction yet non fiction books put out. It is a
very small book, and you would only find this in an occult
book store.
'Forbidden Knowledge' by Rodger Shattuck, this really isn't
a Wiccan book, it talks about all the different writings in
history that were forbibben in their time. It goes from
the Bible to Marquis de Sade.
'The Witches Almanac' by Elizabeth Pepper and John Wilcock,
this is a small little book that gives you snippets of
information. It runs from Spring to Spring, the calanders
are set up to show the Zodiacal month.
'Llewellyn's Magical Almanac' by various authors, this
thing is great, it has tons of articles on every kind of
magic, it has a book of days that shows the moon phase, and
if it's any sort of holiday. This is a very valuable
little book to own, I still have all of mine.
