Phobos Sundome, Mars (16,862- sellout)
May, 2091 card #325

Kenny Lightyear: Hello everyone, and welcome to a sellout crowd where 16,862 fans have lined up at the gates of the Sundome here at Phobos ever since early afternoon to witness the greatest tournament event of the year, it's Deadpool 6.
Morpheus: Kenny, the previous Deadpool tournaments have been filled with excitement, and this year will be no exception, as the teams have been drawn, rivalries have been matched up, and allies have been placed on different sides. This will be interesting.
Lightyear: Let's take you backstage, where we have the first team on hand for an interview.

Interview with Spike. Spike has just recovered from a brutal injury suffered at the hands of Mayhem from the last pay-per-view, KNIGHTS OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE. He is sporting a new look, having undergone the "cleansing" that Brute and Massacre underwent a year ago...

Spike: "...And so I'm telling you now that the man you see before your eyes is no doubt going to last to the end of this thing. I was already a notch above the best before, but now, the cleansing has boosted me up a couple more notches."

Pulsar Prime/Preacher/Mesmer/Matador of M83 vs. Killer Queen/Spike/Death Masque/Matter. Killer Queen starts this match off against the Matador of M83. The Matador, who recently signed Reynard B. Guile as his manager, overpowers the Queen early on and brings in his archnemisis, Death Masque. Death Masque gives the Matador a cold look before entangling himself with this fine athlete, but surprises everyone with a loaded glove to the throat from off the top rope, which he is able to pin the Matador with, making this match a four on three affair.

Preacher then enters the match and attacks Death Masque from behind, wasting no time in setting up the CELTIC CROSS to even up the size of both teams.

Killer Queen reenters the ring against Preacher, but soon tags out to Matter, one half of the Cosmic Forces tag team. Matter holds his own in the ring against Preacher and later Mesmer, but when Pulsar Prime enters the match, the Titan youth and protege of Omega manages to pin the mysterious Matter with a cross bodyblock from the top rope.

Killer Queen attempts to attack Pulsar Prime from behind, but when Pulsar Prime turns around, the Queen decides to shy away and tag out to Spike, who enters the contest for the first time in this match. The fans give the Aethran warrior a warm reaction, as Spike unleashes his anger on Pulsar Prime, before Pulsar Prime decides to tag out to the Preacher. Preacher stands toe to toe, rekindling a classic feud between the Gladiators and the Satanic Forces, until Killer Queen is tagged in and manages to pin the twisted Preacher with a flying knee drop. There are now only two men left on both teams.

Mesmer comes in and faces off against an old rival in Killer Queen, as the battle of the mind games begins. However, Killer Queen misses a move off the top rope in which Mesmer was playing possum, and succumbs to the BLACKOUT that has put out many other UCW stars in the past.

Spike comes into the ring, and begins once again to overpower Mesmer with his great strength, and improved moves. Spike refuses to succumb to Mesmer's psychological ploys, so Mesmer tags out to Pulsar Prime. The agility and youth of Prime are able to elude Spike, as the Aethran is confused by the variety of aerial attacks...

Lightyear: ...and out of nowhere, there's the Tomohawk Thrust!
Morpheus: God I HATE that move!
Lightyear: and he sets him up for a Titan Drop...
Morpheus: SPIKE! SPIKE! SPIKE!
Lightyear: Stop it, would you?
Morpheus: Sorry.
Lightyear: Pulsar Prime has Spike tangled up in the SOLAR STRAIN!
Morpheus: Don't tap out now, Spike...
Lightyear: He taps out! Mesmer and Pulsar Prime advance to the next round!

Interview with Mayhem. Mayhem makes some insulting comments toward Spike and his inability to overcome the SOLAR STRAIN. He then comments on Brute, who will be on the other corner...

Mayhem: "...Brute, I know we're friends, but this is not about friends, it's about me! I plan on advancing to the finals of this tournament, and if that requires me to put you out of it, that's exactly what I'll do!" (lets out a loud shriek as he exits to the ring).

Bishop Hell/Wolf/Comrade Terror/Brute vs. Mayhem/Serpent UnMan/Justice/Antimatter. Comrade Terror starts this one off for his team against the Serpent UnMan. It doesn't last long, as Terror lands the ATOMIC WARHEAD to eliminate the first person in this match.

Mayhem enters the ring against Terror and attacks him from behind. Mayhem tosses Terror around from buckle to buckle, laughing at his opponent's misfortune. Mayhem hits the Mayhem Manslaughter before Comrade Terror tags out to none other than Brute. As the two Aethrans stare each other down, Mayhem makes the first move by swinging at the massive Brute. Brute shrugs it off, and they begin to trade blows in a "contest" of sorts. As Brute goes off to the ropes, Wolf tags himself in to get involved with the new Gladiator. Brute is not happy, but as the two in the ring get involved, the fan reaction warms up. Mayhem gets Wolf down on the ground, but misses the LEAP OF DOOM. Wolf immediately latches on the SAVAGE FACE CLAW and gets Mayhem to submit.

A furious Brute enters the ring and hits his own partner with a Gladiator piledriver, before allowing Antimatter to pin the former Aethran with the NEGATIVE CHARGE.

Bishop Hell enters the ring next, and squares off against Antimatter. Bishop Hell has trouble controlling the unorthodox Antimatter, but likewise, Antimatter cannot seem to mount a solid offense. Bishop Hell manages to land the Bishop Blast, and hits the HELLFIRE, getting the pin and eliminating one half of the Cosmic Forces.

Justic enters the match next, and immediately gives the Bishop a Judicial Forearm. Bishop Hell looks up at the newcomer, and tries to duck out of other incoming moves, but Justice will not let the Bishop get away, as he lands the Tar and Feather. Justice manages to get a reverse piledriver in, which is enough to get the pin over Hell.

Brute comes back in against the sole survivor of the other team. Brute manhandles the real life Toris, taking away any magic that Justice may have had against Bishop Hell. He then tags in Comrade Terror, who gets his share of beating down the newcomer. Brute finally comes in to wrap things up...

Morpheus: ...you see, that's what I like about Brute, he takes his time in dealing with an inferior opponent like Justice!
Lightyear: Brute is just waiting for Justice to get up!
Morpheus: But Justice goes right back down to the mat as of result of the Runaway Cannon.
Lightyear: Brute heads over to Justice and picks him up, it's the Gladiator piledriver!
Morpheus: Brute rolls him over, and it's ...1...2...3! Justice, you're outta here!

Interview with Doomsayer. Doomsayer seems quite pleased with Comrade Terror's performance. He suggests that the same is expected from Tongsoon too, his current singles competitor (Comrade Terror forms a tag team with Tendron called the "Jailbirds.") Terror has asked him about a certain favor, which he is considering...

Doomsayer: "...you see, Comrade Terror is yearning to return to singles competition, which he hasn't done since 2088. I'm willing to let him do this on two conditions. Number one, he outperform Tongsoon on this night, number two, he beats Tongsoon in one on one action at a later date."

(Tongsoon comes on to the set.)

Tongsoon: "what do you mean about this?"

Lord Nexus/Battering Ram/Proteus/Bounty Hunter vs. Incredible Badger/Tongsoon/Exo-King/Executioner. Proteus begins the action with Exo-King as neither man is willing to open up too much in the beginning, refusing to give their opponent to capitalize on their mistake. Lord Nexus is then tagged in, and the Titan opens up the match with his great speed and agility. Exo-King tries to act as a chamelon, attempting a flying body crusher as a counter-offensive, but Lord Nexus recovers quickly, and hoists Exo-King up for a series of three TITAN DROPS to eliminate his majesty from the competition.

Incredible Badger enters second against Nexus, continuing the high-paced action that preceded his entrance. Badger keeps up to speed with Nexus, and after Nexus misses a missile dropkick, capitalizes and pins Lord Nexus with the BURROW BLAST.

Bounty Hunter enters the ring after Lord Nexus' exit, and tries to trap the AniMan. In a mild game of cat and mouse, Incredible Badger plants an AniMen Ax-handle on the forehead of the Hunter before tagging in the Executioner, who pins Bounty Hunter with the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE.

Battering Ram continues the action, as he squares off against a man who he has had his troubles in the past. Executioner drops him down to the mat with a running shoulder tackle, but Battering Ram gets back up on to his feet. Then, to Ram's surprise, Executioner tags out to the Incredible Badger, forcing two tag team partners to face off against each other. A handshake is offered, before the two AniMen go at it, fighting savagely in their animal nature. Neither AniMan will relent, and both competitors refuse to tag out. As the crowd erupts on this encounter, Battering Ram manages to eliminate his own tag partner with the BATTERING RAM. The crowd gets on their feet as Badger heads to the showers. Battering Ram gives the Badger a salutary gesture mounted from the middle rope, as Incredible Badger returns the gesture from the rampway.

Tongsoon enters the match for the very first time, knowing that his singles position in Doomsayer's squad may be in jeopardy if he doesn't equal the performance of his stablemate and one-time tag partner. Tongsoon takes full advantage of Battering Ram's distraction and hits the BATTLE CRY on an unsuspecting opponent. A blink of an eye, and both AniMen are out of this contest.

As the sole surviving member of his Deadpool team (and for the rest of the tournament if he makes it that far,) Proteus faces his arch-nemesis and feuding rival Tongsoon mano a mano, as the hatred between these two factions explodes between the four sides of the squared circle. In a battle between two men of great power, only the stronger can survive...

Morpheus: ...I think that we may be seeing the BATTLE CRY once again...
Lightyear: Not after that Proteus Smash landed by the Greek God...
Morpheus: Tongsoon is hurt, but he counters off the ropes and hits the Warrior Whip!
Lightyear: No love lost between these two, as Tongsoon lets out a Cygnucian battle cry, and there's the great Battle Ax of his! Tongsoon goes for the cover...
Morpheus: ...1...2...3! Sorry, Kenny, but I beat you to it this time!
Lightyear: So Executioner and Tongsoon will advance to meet the survivors of our next match...

Interview with Galactic Punisher. In an ironic turn of events, it appears that the Galactic Punisher has drawn lots with his traditional rivals and "immoral doers of injustice," Krakan and Mad Jester. Asked on how he would cooperate with these conditions, Galactic Punisher responds...

Galactic Punisher: "...those who choose to go against the book of laws will serve out their sentences in due time. But on this night, the Galactic Punisher will set aside his code enforcing, as I shall take this year's Deadpool survivor's title. Whether the likes of Krakan and Mad Jester can hitch along with me, it will remain to be seen..."

Galactic Punisher/Deathlord/Krakan/Mad Jester vs. Massacre/Iron Mane/Commander Sam (in for an injured Lance At-Las)/Massif. Iron Mane starts off against Mad Jester, but soon switches over to the Commander, tag team rivals against Mad Jester and the Royal Creeps. Commander Sam hardly allows the Jester a chance to breathe, as he starts his business early with a running slingshot to pin and eliminate Mad Jester from further participation in Deadpool 6.

Deathlord enters the ring next and changes the tone of the match for the Commander, as his unholiness only puts the great American in a state of discomfort. Krakan comes in next to continue on the same page as Deathlord, and after a deadly elbow slam, Commander Sam finds himself in the same position that he put Mad Jester earlier.

Massif comes in and faces off against Krakan. The two having met before, engage in a brutal slugfest which Massif easily gains the upper hand of, and followed by a couple of headbutts, Krakan finds himself in deep danger of elimination. Krakan fights back with a rifle shot and a running jackhammer, but Massif is able to shake off Krakan's blows with his great bulk and manages to pin the HitMan with a piledriver.

Deathlord attacks Massif from behind, but soon finds himself in a similar situation as Krakan. Deathlord continues his offense, but an aggravated Massif only grabs Deathlord for a headbutt, before hitting a Massif Power Slam to put Deathlord down on the ground. Massif signals for the VOLCANIC DROP, but Deathlord is able to revive himself in time, saving himself from this predicament, as he manages to get somewhat of a choke slam followed by the SOUL TAKER on Massif to knock down the big man and get the pin.

Massacre enters the ring against his longtime rival in the legendary Gladiators vs. Satanic Forces wars, but allows Deathlord the benefit of turning around before smacking him in the face hard. The two go at it right away, to the delight of the fans who know the history between these two and their respective teams, but are almost disqualified for brawling in the ring and failing to heed to the referee's commands. The two break up, only to engage in a brawl again, as both men would rather see the other eliminated than to advance to the next round themselves. Massacre hits the mat hard as of result of the Reaper's Sickle by Deathlord, but before Deathlord can set up for the SOUL TAKER, Massacre rolls out of the ring, drawing the Unholy one out and using the ringpost to his advantage. Massacre then rolls back in and uses the CLEANSING to dispose of the Deathlord.

Galactic Punisher enters the ring as a tower of vengeance, standing alone without the likes of either Krakan or Mad Jester in his corner. He stares down at Massacre, as his recent feud with fellow Aethran Mayhem has been well-documented, and he clenches his fists without uttering a word. The two get it on, trading move for move, but just as Galactic Punisher is on the verge of reaching a VERDICT, Massacre tags out to Iron Mane, another one of his own rivals, who squares off against Galactic Punisher...

Lightyear: ...and Massacre has seemingly cowered out of this situation.
Morpheus: No, that is called "strategic planning." Why take out the Galactic Punisher who wants a piece of you anyway, when you can have someone else do it for you?
Lightyear: Galactic Punisher is ready, though he is obviously a bit out of breath from his exchange with Massacre.
Morpheus: Punisher may have won the last "exchange," but it's the match that counts. You can win exchanges all day and...
Lightyear: FINAL POUNCE BY IRON MANE! The ref drops for the cover, ...1...2...3!

Lightyear: Next up we've got two great semi-final matches for our tournament, as Pulsar Prime and Mesmer meet Comrade Terror and Brute! Ironic how the people involved got aligned so conveniently, eh?
Morpheus: The only thing I can say about this is that Pulsar Prime is a student of Omega's, and of course, we've seen Mesmer with Omega before too, so I'm rooting for the other side!
Pulsar Prime / Mesmer vs. Comrade Terror / Brute. Pulsar Prime and Comrade Terror lock up first in this match. Terror overpowers the Titan youth and student of Omega, but the resilient youth manages to elude Terror, as he gets the upper hand with his agility. Comrade Terror does manage to get Pulsar Prime down on the mat though, with a Terror Face Claw to set up for the massive Brute of the Gladiators to come in. Brute comes in and tosses Pulsar Prime around like a rag doll, shaking off every feeble attempt of Prime to make a comeback. Brute looks for his coup de grace, the BRUTE FORCE, but Pulsar Prime manages to slip out at the last minute. A move in desperation puts Brute down with a Tomohawk chop before tagging out to a fresh Mesmer. Mesmer gives Brute the wicked gaze that he has often given to his opponents in employing his psychological warfare on such opponents. Brute makes several attempts to fight back, but Mesmer is able to control the flow of the match, and clutches on the BLACKOUT, as Brute slowly sinks to his feet and is slowed down greatly. Mesmer lets go of the move prematurely, but before Brute can take advantage of this, Mesmer corrects his mistake with the eye blinder and the pin.

Comrade Terror is suddenly left as the only man left on his squad of four that began this tournament. He struggles for the advantage over Mesmer, and begins quite aggresively and successfully, but in the end, the psychological capabilities of Mesmer prove too much for him to handle...

Morpheus: ...Okay, Mesmer just got tossed out of the ring... but watch out!
Lightyear: Mesmer sweeps Terror's feet from underneath the bottom rope, and smashes him into the steel ringpost! Mesmer rolls him back in.
Morpheus: This is not looking good. And Mesmer is going for the BLACKOUT! Comrade Terror is going down, but not without a fight.
Lightyear: Terror drops to a knee...
Morpheus: The ref is calling for the bell! Comrade Terror has been rendered unconscious!
Lightyear: And Mesmer and Pulsar Prime both advance to the final round of this year's Deadpool!
Morpheus: Doh!

Interview with Tongsoon. After a stellar performance by Comrade Terror in this tournament, Tongsoon begins to fear his own position in the Galactic Rebels stable. However, the former Cygnucian military officer is not content on playing second key to anyone...

Tongsoon: "...Comrade Terror, you may be sick of tag team action now, but I'm not about to give up my position any time soon! Hey, we're usually pretty good friends, but this time, I'm going to have to show you up! Sorry, pal..."

Tongsoon / Executioner vs. Massacre / Iron Mane. In the second semifinal Deadpool match, Tongsoon tries to outdo his teammate, Comrade Terror's performance so that Doomsayer will not continue entertaining thoughts of replacing him in singles action. In the early run, he fares well as Iron Mane gets himself disqualified for "unnecessary roughness." Iron Mane is furious, but agrees to head to the lockeroom without too much trouble.

Massacre is left alone in his turnbuckle, though he doesn't seem to really mind. Massacre controls Tongsoon from the beginning, and doesn't have too much difficulty in putting away the Cygnucian warrior, as the deadly Gladiator Piledriver that has put away many names in tonight's event does the trick once again.

Now down to a one-on-one affair, Executioner attempts to attack Massacre off guard. He does so with a certain level of success, as the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE almost advances him to the finals against Mesmer and Pulsar Prime. A Hangman's clothesline continues to put Massacre in trouble. However, Executioner's poor agility comes into play, as Massacre is able to capitalize and regain the advantage. A falling knee crunch has Executioner grounded, but is far from ending the Executioner's Deadpool run. Executioner fights back hard, and hits Massacre hard with a choke on the ropes, but Massacre relies on his Aethran instincts to help carry him through...

Lightyear: ...And now Massacre's fighting back!
Morpheus: Executioner leaves the ring. The two are brawling it out on the floor!
Lightyear: Massacre whips Executioner into the steel barricade. I think this man smells blood now!
Morpheus: There's that Gladiator piledriver we saw earlier. ...1...2...3! Massacre will advance to the finals to meet...
Lightyear: Mesmer and Pulsar Prime!
Morpheus: um... Go Massacre!

Interview with Thantos. Thantos prepares for his upcoming match against Star Warrior for the UCW Heavyweight belt. He rants about how Star Warrior always received "special favors," because of his father's power in the front office...

Thantos: "...but tonight, your father can have all the power in the world, because when the cage drops down and encloses us inside, it will be just you and me inside there, and I will beat your ass around like I've done so many times ever since we were a tag team!"

Star Warrior (c) vs. Thantos [Hell in a Cell]. Both men fight hard in this match, as both are very well familiar with one another. The champ quickly wins the first exchange, as Thantos slinks out of the ring where Star Warrior seemingly has no problem slamming Thantos' face into the cage, before throwing him into the ring steps and tossing the evil Gamemaster back inside of the ring. Back inside, the match becomes more of a see-saw affair, as both men use the cage and the steel steps and ringposts to the best of their advantages, and both men get cut wide open at their foreheads. Thantos manages to build a solid lead, as he sets up Star Warrior on the floor and climbs up the top rope with a chair in his hand. However, as he comes down, Star Warrior grabs another chair and smashes it into Thantos' face...

Morpheus: ...Noooo! I can't believe it! Get up, now Thantos, you can do it still...
Lightyear: And the whole crowd is on their feet. 16,000 plus at the sold out Phobos Sundome off their seats and cheering these combatants on!
Morpheus: Star Warrior rams my boy, Thantos, into the ringpost. Oh, I can't bear to watch this carnage!
Lightyear: Star Warrior rolls Thantos into the ring, and now he's going up the top rope...
Morpheus: It's the COSMIC BIG BANG! I can smell it!
Lightyear: Star Warrior leaps off, and he hits it! Star Warrior with the cover now, ...1...2...3! Star Warrior retains his UCW Heavyweight belt! Are you okay, Morpheus?

Pulsar Prime / Mesmer vs. Massacre. The finals for the Deadpool 6 tournament take shape of a two on one handicap match, though Massacre seems content to take on them both. Pulsar Prime and Mesmer both spend time tagging in and out to keep a fresh man in against Massacre, but the Aethran warrior battles on and refuses to go down. Massacre finally cuts a break when he gets a face wrecker on Pulsar Prime followed by a falling knee crunch on route to eliminating half of his competition in this match.

As Massacre looks up after pinning the young and much improved Pulsar Prime, he sees Mesmer stepping into the ring from the other corner, as he slowly gets up to his feet to meet what will be his last challenge of the night, one way or the other. The two tie up, with Massacre taking the initial advantage, but after whipping the Master of the Occult into the ropes, Massacre finds himself a victim of first the leap frog, and then a stunning clothesline. Mesmer hits an eye blinder, as Massacre turns away...

Lightyear: ...and Mesmer is waiting for the kill!
Morpheus: There's no way he's going to get this...
Lightyear: Mesmer hints the BLACKOUT, but goes for an equally effective sleeperhold instead!
Morpheus: Not to worry though, Massacre will fight out of this!
Lightyear: Massacre is dropping down to his knees. The ref checks the arms, ...1...2...3, the ref is calling for the bell, Massacre is out!
Morpheus: Oh, I can't believe it! Mesmer is the sole survivor of this year's Deadpool tournament! I'm shocked!
