Frontier Visions #10

FWA Frontier Visions #10
Brymstone BattleDome, Orion

**At the beginning of the program, FWA champion Raza wastes no time marching down to the ring and stealing the floor with a few opening words concerning his title defense scheduled to take place later on the card. Half of the fans seem to be in support of Raza, though Raza is the clear favorite in tonight's matchup. He looks pissed, but when does he not?
Raza: "Brotha, you've got me on a short fuse right here claiming your 'tough as leather' bullshit, and how you're better than me at suplexing. Well mark my words, ya dirty mother fucker, when you get in that ring with me later tonight, you better show me all that you've got, because I ain't holding back none on you! Beat me, if you can... SURVIVE... IF I LET YOU!"

*Richard "the Manifesto" Banks vs. Sean Mikkal Deveroux. As Banks makes his entrance to the ring, SMD sneaks up from behind and attacks him from the ramp with a lead pipe to the back of the head, allowing the match to get started early. Deveroux then stays on Banks like white on rice, easily subduing his rival, and when the two reach ringside, SMD barely puts Banks away with the 450 SPLASH as...

**Out of nowhere, Johnny Vargo enters from the stands and attacks SMD, barely missing the save for Banks. Deveroux appears upset that Vargo would not let him savor the sensation of earning such a cheap shot victory over Banks, but Vargo continues to attack SMD, sending him out of the ring with a JV Kick. Banks begins to get off the mat, but Vargo attacks him as well, tossing Banks out of the ring on top of SMD.
Vargo: "You two both think you're the fuckin' show? Well you might have been, but all that's gonna change now that Jonny V is here in FWA! Yeah, you might have seen me with my good friend, RK Oasis before, but let me take this moment to formally welcome myself in the land of great reputation. So welcome, Johnny Vargo, the most elite lightweight competitor to ever step into a wrestling ring!"

**The Schizmatics await backstage as they are here to observe the next match from the monitors in their lockerooms. With the FWA tag team title still up for grabs, the Schizmatics are keeping a close eye on the competition.
Heretic: "Those tag team belts are as good as ours! We've burned up the fuckin' competition, and we've beaten both the Theater of Pain and Jin and Oki!"
Blasphemy: "That's true, Heretic. Now why the hell don't we have the belts yet? That's what I want to know, and what I'm aiming to find out!"

*Theater of Pain vs. Jin Kazaya / Oki Rex. Oki starts the match off solid against the T.O.P. hitting an impressive display of his Rex Hurricane and a sunset flip to give the Thespians a little rude awakening, but the experience of the former team shows through when Comedy and Tragedy manage to isolate the former Rexman. The T.O.P. take turns using their various finishers, though Oki stays resilient and avoids the three count, when the Troupe decides to hit a "doomsday device" type move with a chair shot from the top rope instead of a clothesline. The Schizmatics come in and break up the party.

**Jin Kazaya tries to fight off the Schizmatics, but is easily shrugged off, as they enter the ring and hit the RIFT on Oki Rex before hurling him over the top rope. The T.O.P. appear ready to fight, but while Rex and Kazaya leave the ring, the two remaining teams stare each other down before officials separate them.

**Rex Brewer comes down to the ring for the first time tonight, as he gets plenty of cheers from his female fan club. He comes out, and rolls his usual procedure, but cuts the biddings rather short, as something is obviously on his mind. He invites the sexy winner of the bidding into the ring, as he lowers the ring ropes for her to enter.
Rex Brewer: "Yes, tonight you can guaren-damn-tee it that the Rex will try everything in his power to redefine the term, 'testicular fortitude' when you and I check into our Whackdown Hotel. Because out of the millions upon millions of the Rex's female fans all over the world, the Rex says that you are worthy of doing business with the most electrifying gigolo in sports entertainment, and it is with great pleasure that the Rex, and the 'Great One' (motions down below) get to entertain you tonight, if you smeeell-- shut the hell up! This ain't no damn sing-along! I'm a businessman first, and an entertainer second! If you smell what the Rex is brewin'!"
("Devious" Scott Deville steps out of the ring, dragging Brewer's FWA TV title behind him).
"Devious" Scott Deville: "Forgetting something, Rex? I think you've lost your damn mojo! Whatever could it be?"
Rex Brewer: "Give me my damn belt back! The Rex says that he's the best damn FWA TV champion there ever was, so you're not worthy of holding the Rex's belt!"
Deville: "Your belt? Then give me what I want first!"
(Rex raises his eyebrows in curiosity)
Deville: "No, not that you fuckin' cock-sucker! I want a damn match with you so that I can officially kick your ass and bring this belt home!"

**Tommy Leech comes out to the ring with a sack full of thumbtacks and a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. Leech spreads the thumbtacks out across the center of the ring, and sets the bat down in a corner, as he takes the mic.
Leech: "What I'm lookin' for here is a fight worth my paycheck that I receive from the FWA regularly. I want to fight someone who is not afraid of seeing their own blood. You think you've got what it takes to make it big in the FWA? Then get your ass on down here, and let's get it on!"
(Axiom Ukase appears from behind the curtain, and walks down to accept Leech's challenge.)

*Tommy Leech vs. Axiom Ukase. Leech immediately pounds on Axiom from the start of the match with the barbed wire baseball bat, before unfolding a steel chair and hitting a drop toe hold smashing Ukase's face into it. Ukase falls out on to the thumbtacks, and Leech takes great pleasure in stomping on Axiom's face twice to grind those thumbtacks into his forehead - the second time coming off of the ropes. After a powerbomb on those very thumbtacks, Leech pulls Ukase's beat up body over to the side, where he hits the BLOODSUCKER, with pints of blood dripping to the mat from Axiom's head, to take the win.

**Leech takes to the microphone, and after motioning to the paramedics who to remove from the ringside area, begins to speak.
Leech: "I don't care who's who in the FWA, I'm hear to scrap for a living, and to fight a man's fight. It don't matter if you're some paper champ that has an aura of mistique around him, or some lowlife undercarder that can't get on television. I'll gladly take up any challenge, beating people within inches of death is my hobby."

**Eric "Leather" Hyde is interviewed backstage about his upcoming title shot against Raza scheduled for later on in the night.
Leather Hyde: "All these fuckin' fans out there seem to be behind Raza. They think I'm some kind of boring low-life hairy-ass bastard, but they have yet to see the intensity that I can unleash in the ring. I know that I'm in better condition than the so-called champ, I've worked harder than he has out of the ring, and in the ring, it will show tonight! I look at Raza the way I look at all of my other opponents, inferior to me, and a guy that's gonna get his ass kicked!"

**Deadlock comes out to the ring dressed in his wrestling gear and takes the mic right away.
Deadlock: "Demise, get your fat-ass out here so that I can whip it good!"
(Demise shows up from the curtain.)
Demise: "I forewarned that should you call me out to the ring, you shall feel my wrath the next time. Well, you fucked up, so let the 'Reign of Terror' begin on you, as we rid this fed of your puny carcass, and bring in the new!"
(Demise runs down the ring and meets Deadlock inside the squared circle)

*Deadlock vs. Demise. The two start off rough, as Demise hits the HEADSTONE DRIVER early in the match, but Deadlock manages to kick out and hit Demise with a Russian leg sweep on to an open chair to rough Demise up a bit. Deadlock whips out a slab of concrete and breaks it over Demise' head, before executing a leaping DDT on one of the broken pieces, busting Demise up despite his protective head gear/helmet. Demise is struggling badly when Okie Rex and Jin Kazaya come out from the back, and while Deadlock prepares to leap off the top rope on to Demise, Oki blows a saki fireball into Deadlock's face, straddling Deadlock across the top turnbuckle, and allowing Demise to hit a superplex to take the win.

**After the match, the three of them continue to beat the hell out of Deadlock, and Demise calls out Pharcyde. A black man with a garbage can full of goodies comes out and joins their side as he pulls out a crutch and shatters it over Deadlock. They tie him up to the ropes, as Demise takes the microphone.
Demise: "Deadlock, let me introduce you to some of my 'little helpers' in the grand master plan that is gradually unfolding. Rex and Kazaya you've already seen, but this is Pharcyde here, and together we are the Contagion. Hear me out, the rest of you FWA imbeciles, we are here to clean out the weak, and sooner or later we will be paying visits to each and every one of you. However, it appears that you Deadlock, have the exclusive privelege of being the first. Take him out, Pharcyde!"
(Pharcyde grins, and holds his forearm over the face of Deadlock as he cuts his arm open and allows the blood to drip down on to Deadlock's face. Pharcyde then turns and pulls out a window pain, preparing to strike Deadlock over the head with it, when out of the crowd, another stranger shows up with a shopping cart, hops over the guardrail and takes the vacuum cleaner out. With the vacuum cleaner, he "cleans" out the ring of the Contagion, and empties all of the contents of Pharcyde's garbage can before throwing the empty can out at the Contagion. He unties Deadlock out of the ropes, and helps him to his feet.)

*Raza vs. Eric "Leather" Hyde - FWA title match. Hyde takes off his belt from the beginning, and begins to strap the FWA champ down, but Raza gets the first offensive flurry by locking a reverse waistlock grip and hitting his rolling German suplexes, which barely leave Hyde dazed. Raza does not allow his frustration to show though, as he stays right on his opponent and hits a half nelson suplex, before Hyde hits a standing "gramby roll" to get the reversal and executes a devastating double overhook belly-to-belly suplex that gains the fans' applause. Hyde goes to the top rope twice, before setting up and hitting the SPLIT THE MIDDLE, but Raza still shows fight left in him. The fans chant "Raza! Raza!" but it only seems to motivate Hyde even more, as he sets Raza up on the top turnbuckle, and hits the RAWHIDE to take the pin.

**After the match, the fans all seem to be in disbelief, as Raza was clearly favored to win the match, and the result here was a huge upset. Eric Hyde takes off his leather belt for the second time in the match, only to replace it with the FWA Heavyweight belt.
Hyde: "This goes to all of the fans who doubted me, didn't think I could win the belt, and cheered for my opponents: FUCK YOU! (pauses to the crowd's boos) I'm on top now, and I don't have to prove myself against anyone, they now have to prove themselves against me!"
