The Official Supreme Action Wrestling Edition

Welcome to Supreme Action Wrestling (SAW), a wrestling promotion that held cards during the late twentieth century. It boasted many top draws and was very popular in its own region until the fed suddenly froze without any real reason. Many of the stars left to find other promotions to compete in, and SAW became just a memory.

After suspending its operations for several months, enthusiastic SAW fan Phil Russolesi has convinced president Ahmed “Al” Muharraqi to restart the promotion, and for his efforts has been named as the head recruiter, mainly for the old talent that competed before its break. Some old faces returned, some didn’t, while other new wrestlers have shown up. Some of the feuds picked up right where they left off, while new ones have brewed in the meantime. It is a strange time for SAW indeed, and in these times following the break in the action, almost anything can happen and generally will.

Ahmed “Al” Muharraqi. The president of the SAW promotion. Though he resides in the middle eastern parts of the world, he has been able to successfully run this promotion in the past, and intends to continue doing so. As the owner of this prestigious fed, he also has the final say in all outcomes, though he has delegated most of his responsibilities to his appointed Vice President, Phil Russolesi.

Phil Russolesi. He is the vice president of the SAW, and is the main reason that the SAW has been able to restart its operations. He has also been delegated a lot of power in this promotion by President Al, and has quickly become the most powerful man of the company. Phil makes most of the matches while Al sees to the bookings to the arenas, and it is usually Phil who makes sure that the events go through smoothly. He is accompanied by two Assistant Vice Presidents, Shawn and Chris Shroeder, newcomers to the SAW though experienced in promoting the sport.

Shawn/Chris Schroeder. These two men share similar powers to that of Phil, as Assistant Vice Presidents, though they are not as powerful. They book many of the matches for the TV programming, and have been very influential in bringing the SAW product across the border to Canada. Experienced in the promotion of the sport, Shawn/Chris Schroeder have had a huge impact on the SAW, despite being new to the promotion.

The broadcast team consists of Jimmy Guy White, Trixie Lee, and “Wild” Bill Bailey.

Jimmy Guy White is the most experienced of the commentary team and can usually call the moves as they happen. He is a straight shooter and doesn’t talk any nonsense, nor does he show any subjectivity or bias toward any particular wrestler.

Trixie Lee is a little less knowledgable of the sport of wrestling than her colleague, Jimmy Guy White, but still has the ability to call the moves as they happen. She usually struggles in staying neutral while calling the match, favoring the more “handsome” wrestler, but has been able to do her job well in the past.

“Wild” Bill Bailey. This is a guy who only calls the matches the way he sees it. He is your typical politically incorrect, in-your-face style announcer who talks before he thinks, a practice that has gotten him into a lot of trouble in the past (including a gruesome injury sustained by the hands of Preacher and Deathlord.) He has no problem letting either of his colleagues know what he thinks of them, and can argue that he sees black when it is obviously white.

The Wrestlers

“Devious” Scott Deville (6’5”, 268 llbs; from Washington D.C.)
“Devious” Scott Deville enters the SAW as a newcomer with an attitude. He has backed down to no one, and has even gotten into the face of SAW president, Ahmed “Al” Muharraqi. Deville is managed by (Gullible) Gil Long, and together they have terrorrized the competition with their brash remarks. In the ring, Deville is much more serious, as he is an accomplised technical wrestler as well as an avid brawler when he needs to be. His DEVIOUS DEATH LOCK is a variation of the Texas Cloverleaf which has caused many athletes to submit to in the past. Scott Deville has wasted no time in picking a feud with fellow newcomer, “Hearthrob” Chris Chandler.

“Hearthrob” Chris Chandler (6’1”, 233 llbs; from San Antonio, Texas)
The “Hearthrob” enters the SAW with a huge ego and plenty of ladies swooning around him. His flambuoyance and charisma have carried him far, though they are now to be tested by the other stars of the SAW. His entrances to the ring are usually extravagant, with tiny sequin hearts dropping from the roof, to the delight of his female fan gathering. Chandler boasts that no one has ever kicked out of his patented HEARTBREAK SUPLEX, and thus far, that claim has not been disproven. He is currently involved in a feud with another newcomer to the SAW, “Devious” Scott Deville, who he views as a “stepping stone” to help catapult him to the top of the SAW.

“Jammin’” Jimmy Blast (6’3”, 238 llbs; from Cincinnati, Ohio)
“Jammin’” Jimmy Blast used to be the leader of the nefarious Horsemen stable before the group split up, and was a former SAW champ as well. Before the SAW froze, he had also been aligned in a stable with “Hotshot” Mike Stewart, but since the fed has restarted, vestiges of their alliance have vanished. Will bad feelings remain? Currently, Blast has his own problems, as a mn who has always idolized him, Simon Styles, has stepped up to challenge him. How will Blast respond? In the meantime, will Blast be able to make a successful run at the prestigious SAW World Heavyweight Championship? Blast possesses a deadly arsenal, which includes his BLASTER, a top rope piledriver that has garnered him many victories over his opponents. Will Blast be able to lead SAW into a new golden age?

“Hotshot” Mike Stewart (6’5”, 257 llbs; from Jackson, Mississippi)
Mike Stewart is a very talented wrestler and he knows it. THe catch is that he wants everyone else to be aware of this also. Dressed in a black jumpsuit with a blue crossover, Stewart will stoop to any level to achieve the win (“Hotshot Style Baby!”) As the SAW champ before the fed froze, Stewart is obviously a top contender for the SAW belt and has been named so by the new Vice President, Phil Russolesi, along with arch-nemesis American Patriot, Russo Family anchor man Pledge Allegiance, and the demonic newcomer Deathlord. His HOTSHOOTER is the classic sharpshooter submission hold dreaded by all of SAW’s finest stars. Does he have what it takes to reclaim the prize which he believes is still rightfully his?

American Patriot (6’7”, 262 llbs; Washington D.C.)
Few people stand for good today in SAW. American Patriot is one of those few. After a longstanding feud with “Hotshot” Mike Stewart which froze when the fed did, it appears that their bad feelings have been reignited. However, this time American Patriot also has other competitors to worry about, with the influx of new talent since the fed restarted. Is the PATRIOT MISSLE, a shoulder tackle from the top rope, enough to stop the new foes?

Antifreeze (6’11, 402 llbs; Anchorage, Alaska)
The not-so-gentle giant of the SAW has awaken! Before the SAW froze, Antifreeze was screwed by not one, but two different stables. And now he’s on a mission to end all such groups, especially the Russo Family and the Crew of Destruction, which he believes to be the root of all evil. Make no mistake though, Antifreeze is still every bit as nasty and cruel as he was before, only now he is an independent. He is especially angry at Hurricane, his former tag team partner in the Twin Towers who he felt neglected him in pursuit of a singles belt for himself.

Area 51 (6'4", 260 llbs; parts unknown)
No one knows very much about Area 51 or his tag team partner, Yoshimitsu. Both are masked mauruders who have kept silent during their tenure in SAW, though one thing is for certain, and that is that they were brought in by Hexx to compete as a tag team known as Alien Revolution. With the SAW restarting its operations, Hexx feels that now is the best chance for Alien Revolution to win the tag straps!

Ash (6'1", 236 llbs; parts unknown)
As one half of the legendary tag team known as Molten Laval, Ash knows what SAW competition is all about. All of the glory of being called champion, and the pressures of defending the belts were common in the careers of Ash and his partner Rock during the old days of SAW. But since the SAW froze the first time around, many teams have not come back, while many new ones have entered the scene, particularly the Powers of Darkness. They currently have maintained their feud with former SAW tag champions Devastation Inc., but with the new breed of tag team wrestling, does Molten Lava have what it takes to keep its prestige as the greatest tag team of SAW?

Black Blazer (5'11", 242 llbs; Tulsa, OK)
The Blazing Blazers are a tag team looking for a break into the business. Having competed in the SAW for a little while before the SAW froze, they have remained faithful, waiting for an opportunity to prove themselves as solid contenders for the SAW belt. However, many new tag teams have also entered the fray, and especially the presence of Alien Revolution have challenged the Blazing Blazers to a tag team sudden death feud. How will the Blazers fare?

Chris Adonis (5'10", 230 llbs; Fresno, CA)
Chris Adonis is your typical self-loving freak of nature. He always carries a mirror around with him to gaze at his presence. He is virtually unseparable with this looking glass, and can be seen even talking to the mirror, holding conversations about who the greatest wrestler is.
