Although many don't believe it, this automobile is actually a kit car. Ultima developed it to be the fastest "Home Built Car". This car has quite a history. It was developed in the early nineties, which the McLaren engineers were glad for because they tested the McLaren/BMW powerplant in the Ultima. This car has also raced, but I haven't found any stats or results about its career. The pictures below are mostly Spyder configurations, but a Sports model, which is a hardtop, and a racing model are also available. The powerplants in these cars are wide spread, from turbo inline-fours, to Chevy V8s, to complex DOHC Rover racing engines.
