Time

Wrapped in your arms
Breathing in the sweet smells
Of your heavenly body
Dreaming of a far away world
Filled with love
Just you and me
Dancing together
On a silent beach
Walking hand and hand
Looking longingly into each others eyes
Theres so many places to go
yet so little time to spend with you

Unanswered Questions

He was your son
He believed in you
Why’d you take him away
Why’d you let him die
Why didn’t you guard him from danger
He was your son
He believed in you
Was he really that bad
Did he deserve that fate
Couldn’t you have saved him
Taken another life instead
Just answer these few simple questions God
And tell me Why???

First Meeting

When I looked into your eyes
i knew it was true
my heart never lies
i was in love with you
as you stood there
just looking around
my whole body melted
into the ground
i remember the day
i remember the time
i remember the the place
it is always on my mind
you looked so good
in your shirt and your jeans
i remember the night
you were in my dreams
i wish i could be with you
day after day
because I love you
more than words can say

Her Or Me

I've been in love with you since i can remember
We're great friends, I love to talk to you
But then there's her, my best friend
You must be looking at her, I think
You can't be looking at me
You said you loved us both
It made me so happy
We'd laugh and joke and be happy all day
Yes things were finally going my way
Then you asked if she would
And of course she answered you with a yes
"What was the question"
"I'll give you one guess"
You were looking at her
You weren't looking at me
This happened to me, again and again
How could she do this to me?
My very best friend
My other friend assured me
That it would soon be different
But I was still sad
Why weren't you looking at me?
But she was right, I had found out
One day you called me and told me how you really felt
Maybe the whole time you really were

"Looking past her..... To me."
