Paraguay is below the equator. Our seasons are reverse of those in the U.S. Summer is from December 21-March 20, with many days reaching over 100 degrees!
Fall begins March 21
Winter begins June 21 and is comparable to a winter in Florida. Spring begins September 21st.

The currency in Paraguay is called the guaranie and it currently takes 2,950 guaranies to make one U.S. dollar!
Did you know that Paraguay is a bi-lingual nation, speaking not only Spanish, but the Guarani indian language? Most children in our area are taught Guarani at home before they attend school, where they are taught in Spanish. Guarani is also taught as a course in schools, like English is taught in the states.
