Lafayette Volunteers
Welcome to the offical web site for the Lafayette Fire Company. Lafayette is a progressive volunteer department whose coverage area borders the east side of the City of Lancaster Pennsylvania. We have aprox. 35 active members who protect a 12 square mile area that has "everything". Our coverage area includes everything from garden apartments, mid-rise hospital/nursing facilities, industrial parks, residential developments, tourist attractions, hotels/motels, urban style row homes, limited access highways, commuter and freight rail service, strip malls, and the Conestoga River. We answer around 500 calls for service annually. Our calls are dispatched via the Lancaster County Communications Center on 33:90, and operations take place on 33:72.
