Engine 63-1
Engine 63-1 is a 1991 Spartan/Saulsbury Rescue Pumper. This unit has a 1500 GPM Hale single stage pump, a 600 gallon water tank, and a 40 gallon AFFF Foam Tank. This unit carries a full compliment of Engine Co. and Rescue Co. equipment, including an AMKUS Rescue System, Air Bags, stokes basket, Air hammer, stabilization equipment, and water rescue equipment. Engine 63-1 responds "First Due" to all Rescue related incidents, auto fires, hazardous materials incidents, and "Third due to all structural incidents Before Engine 632 began running as a first due unit, Engine 631 was the busiest volunteer pumper in Lancaster County |
Engine 63-2
Engine 63-2 is a 1978 Mack Pumper that was totally refurbished in 1993. This unit has a 1500 GPM 2 stage pump, a 500 gallon water tank, and a 40 gallon AFFF foam tank. Engine 63-2 is the "First Due" Structural unit. it carries 1500' of 5" Supply Hose, 800' of 2.5" handline, and several crosslays of 1.75". Unit also carries 90 gallons of AFFF Foam (in buckets), and several Foam applicators. Engine 63-2 responds with Foam 63 to all Foam Assignments. Engine 632 is the "Pride of the Fleet". This unit has earned the department award trophies in the Pennsylvania State Firefighters Convention 3 years running!! 1st place in 1996 2nd place in 1997 3rd place in 1998 "Nothing Beats a Bulldog!!" |
Truck 63
Truck 63 is a 1986 Mack/LTI 75' Quint. It has a 1500 GPM 2 Stage pump, 150 gallons of water, and can flow 1000 gallons per minute through the ladder pipe. This unit responds "2nd out" on all structural incidents, and special rescue calls. Truck 63 is equipped with a full compliment of fans, saws, ground ladders, salvage equipment,and hand tools, as a "Truck Company" should be!! Although this unit is equipped with a tank & pump, it does NOT perform engine company functions unless absolutly needed!! |
