Part X

The day of the Rocks, Paper, Scissors Tournament had finally come, and Mulan, Jam-Yai, and Pa-Tria were ready to tear each other apart.

"Alright, ladies," said Em-Chai to the girls, "are you ready to FIGHT TO THE DEATH!?"

"Uhhh, Em-Chai," said Jenn-Lee, "we agreed that we would have them battle in a Rocks, Paper, Scissors Tournament, remember? In fact, you're the one who suggested it."

"I did?" replied Em-Chai. "But I WANNA SEE BLOODSHED! PHOOEY! Oh, alright, have your stinkin Rocks, Paper, Scissors Tournament. But can we toss the losers into a pit of vicious, poisonous snakes?"

"Uhhh, mom," said Jam-Yai, "what if one of us loses?"

"That's a chance I'm willing to take!" said Em-Chai, grinning. Jam-Yai and Pa-Tria stared at their mom. "Okay, girls, I'll settle on a pit of sharp, rusty nails. See? Your mommy loves you, yes she does!" Jam and Pa kept staring. "What? What is it?"

"Anyway," said Jenn-Lee, "shall we begin?"

"Ummm," said Alex, "it just occured to me that we can't have a tournament with just three people. What're we going to do?"

"Easy," said Jam-Yai, "we'll just have a tournament with two people. Mulan, you're out!" Alex-Yee-Beans grinned happily.

"Wait a minute!" said Mulan. "Why am I out?! I'm sure Shang would prefer me over two witches!"

"WITCHES?!" screached Jam. "We are NOT witches! We are sorceresseseses... well, you know what I mean. There's a big difference!"

"You're not a sorceress!" said Pa. "A person as old and ugly as you is a witch! Look! you even have a broom!"

"What?" said Jam as she hid her broom behind her. "What broom? Besides, who you calling a witch? At least I don't give poison apples to girls who are more beautiful than me!"

"How dare you?!" said Pa. "I didn't know those apples would make her fall asleep! I thought they were going to kill her... then I WOULD BE THE FAIREST OF THEM ALL! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! If only those darn dwarves didn't stop m--" Pa-Tria stopped and saw everyone staring at her. "Oh, that reminds me. Mulan, would you like a nice fresh apple?"

"Uhhh....no," replied Mulan. "Anyway, how are we going to have a tournament now? The only way is if another person enters."

"I'll enter!" said yet another mysterious figure.

Pa-Tria, Jam-Yai, and Mulan turned around to see Amy-kee in human form.

"You!?" Jam asked. "Why on earth would you want Shang?"

"Well, Chi-Fu just dumped me..." said Amy-kee.

"Wait a second," said Jam-Yai. "You got dumped by Chi-Fu?! HAHA! What type of loser would you have to be to get dumped by that wimp? Wow, you must be really patheti---." Jam saw Amy-kee giving her an evil look. "Uhh... nevermind."

"Hmmm.... I'll deal with you later insolent fool!" said Amy-Kee. "Anyway, as I was about to say before being rudely interrupted, Chi-Fu had just dumped me, and I can't bear to go on without my little rice cake." Everyone stared at Amy-kee. "What are you all looking at? Anyway, I figured that if Chi-Fu sees me with another man, he'll realize he can't live without me!"

"So," said Jenn-Lee, "you're just going to use my son?"

"Well, USE is such a strong word," replied Amy-kee. "It's more like... manipulate? No.... you're right, I am using him. Is there something wrong with that?"

"Umm..." said Jam-Yai, "You do realize that if you win you'll have to MARRY Shang, right?"

"Really?" said Amy-kee. "Well, I'll deal with that problem later. Right now I've gotta get my fried dumpling back!" Everyone stared at her again. "WHAT?!"

"I don't know," said Jenn-Lee. "I don't want that... thing marrying my son."

"Then let's take a vote," said Jam-Yai. "Those who want to include Amy-kee in our tournament, raise your hands." Mulan, Jam, and Pa each raised one of their hands. Amy-Kee raised both of her hands. "Well, I guess she's in."

"I personally don't mind if she joins the tournament," said Mulan. "After all, she has no chance of winning. Everyone here knows I'm the best Rocks, Paper, Scissors player here. I could beat everyone else in my sleep. After all, it's not hard to win against those girls."

"What?!" screamed Jam-Yai. "What do you mean by that?! I'll show you!" Jam-Yai took out her medallion and was ready to strike Mulan. "Take this! Pink, fluffy things, attack Mulan! Wait, that's not right. Oh, yes. Great Dragon of Fire, roast this little girl!"

Alex jumped in front of Mulan to protect her. "NOOO!!!" said Alex. "You can't kill Mulan!" But nothing happened...

"HEY?! What's wrong with this thing?" said Jam.

"Oh," said Jane-yee, taking the medallion. "This is the chocolate medallion I've been looking for! I looked everywhere! The medallions must've gotten switched. Uh-oh..."

"What?" said Jam-Yai.

"I already ate all of the other medallion before realizing it wasn't chocolate," said Jane-Yee, biting into the chocolate medallion. "Hmm.... I know!" She took the half-eaten medallion and infused it with her power. "Sorry about the spit on it. Otherwise, it's just as good as the normal medallion!"

"Uhh... thanks," said Jam-Yai. "Take this!"

"Wait!" said Shang. "If you kill Mulan, I won't marry you even if you do win the tournament!" Alex looked on with jealous eyes.

"Alright, Shang, but just for you." said Jam. "Anyway, Mulan, don't underestimate us, especially me."

"Yeah, Mulan," said Pa-Tria, "You know you don't stand a chance against me. After all, I won the nationwide Rocks, Paper, Scissors Contest last year."

"Ha!" said Amy-Kee. "There were only two people in that contest, you and some idiot! Why, that other person was so stupid that a rock could beat her! No wonder you won!"

"Wait a second," said Pa. "Weren't you the other person in the contest?"

"Come to think of it, yes," answered Amy-kee. "I hereby take back that previous statement."

"Well, I guess I have no problem with Amy-kee entering," said Jenn-Lee. "Besides, after hearing that information, I know she has no chance."

"HEY!" said Amy-kee.

"Well, girls," said Jenn-Lee, ignoring Amy-kee, "if you're ready, let's begin!"

"No!" said Amy-kee. "We can't start yet? I haven't practiced yet!"

"What is there to practice?" said Jam-Yai.

"Well," said Amy-kee, "Uhh...I need to plan my strategy!"

"What strategy?" said Mulan. "It's a game of chance!"

"Nevermind about the tournament," said Em-Chai, "It's raining!"

"So? We can hold it indoors." said Mulan.

"No, we can't," said Jenn-Lee. "I just had the carpets cleaned, and you're all soaking wet and dripping with mud! Last time a person tracked mud in the house I just went berserk! We'll just have to hold the tournament off until tomorrow."

"Alright," said Mulan. "I can't wait until tomorrow!"

"Neither can I," said Amy-kee, "neither can I..."
