~Chapter 11~

Gina pushed Isabelle back on and forth on the swing in their backyard. Danielle stepped outside to join them. Danielle sat down on the other swing next to Isabelle and smiled at Gina. "You won't mind if Walt comes over tonight to hang out, right?" She asked. Gina shook her head. "No, thats fine." "Okay." Danielle said as she moved her gaze to Isabelle. She was smiling and giggling. Danielle couldn't help but smile. "So, have ya talked to AJ?" Danielle asked. Gina shook her head. "Nope. Remember? We aren't going to talk this whole week. We have to think things out." "You miss him like crazy, don't you?" Danielle asked. Gina smiled and nodded. "Yeah."

"I like AJ a lot." Isabelle said. Gina stopped pusing her and looked down. "You do?" She asked. Isabelle nodded and looked up at her mother. "Can he be my dad? Billy next door has one." Gina's heart stopped. She looked over at Danielle. Her mouth was hanging open. Gina walked infront of Isabelle and knelt down before her. "Izzy, what did you say?" She asked. "Can AJ be my daddy?" Isabelle repeated. Gina didn't know what to say. Tears started to fill her eyes. "Mommy, whats wrong?" Isabelle asked.

Danielle quickly stood and picked up Isabelle. "Lets go make some PB&J sandwiches and let mommy be alone for a little, okay?" Isabelle nodded. Danielle looked back at Gina as she went to the house. She had to leave her alone to collect her thoughts.

AJ sat on the couch flipping through the channels. He wasn't really paying much attention to what was on them. He finally stopped on Mtv and left it on. He watched a few moments of 'Jackass' before his thoughts turned to Gina. He knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He knew that the day he met her and he knows that now more then ever. He felt so comfortable with her when they dated. After they broke up he seemed to always find the wrong women. They weren't his type. They weren't Gina.

He was a different man these past two years. He gained a pretty bad drinking habbit. There were times he'd wake up with a woman that he had no idea who it was and wouldn't remember any of the events that happened the night before. He didn't know why he did it at the time but now he does. He felt lonely without her. Drinking and partying made him forget about how much he needed her. And he knew she brought out the best in him.

But now things were complicated. He lives in Florida and she and Isabelle live in California. How would they make this work? AJ sighed. He didn't care. They would figure something out. AJ returned his thoughts to the TV. He couldn't wait for the week to end.

The day was going very slow. To Gina, it seemed like she had been in work forever. The hostess didn't come in so Sarah asked her to do it. For some reason she hated doing it, but agreed to it anyway. Things were getting slow and she stood infront of the restaurant with nothing to do.

Gina looked out the window and watched a couple walke by. The women was pushing a baby carriage as they both laughed. Gina smiled, imaging that was her and AJ. Sighing, she wished that tomorrow would come so she can see him again. She hoped he made the right decision because all she wanted for the rest of her life was him.
