~Chapter 13~

AJ rolled over in the bed without opening his eyes. He reached his arm out feeling the empty space next to him. He knew Gina wasn't going to be there. She never was. For the two years they dated he didn't remembered ever once waking up with her. She was always up doing something, no matter what time it was. In the shower, making breakfast, sometimes even cleaning.

AJ popped one eye open to look at the clock. 6:09. He sighed as he pushed himself up and got out of the bed. He slipped on his boxers and quickly made his way to the bathroom. When he was finished he stepped out of the bathroom and stood in the hallway for a brief moment. He heard typing coming from somewhere downstairs. AJ walked down the steps and made his way to the computer room. He stood in the doorway and watched Gina type away at the computer. The only thing she had on was her blue bathrobe.

Gina could feel his eyes on her and she turned her head to look at him. She could tell he was hardly awake and she was suprised he made an effort to at least put his boxers on. He didn't say anything he just stared at her. She was about to say something but he started to walk towards her with a slight smile on his face. He placed his hands on the back of the chair and quickly pulled it. Gina scream as she grabbed on to the side of the chair. "AJ! What are you doing?!?" AJ continued to pull tha chair out into the living room and then stopped when he got to the steps.

AJ swooped Gina up into his arms and carried her up the stairs. Gina sighed as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "What do you think you are doing Alexander? I have homework I have to do." AJ just rolled his eyes and continued up the steps. When he got to her bedroom he quickly untied her bathrobe and let it fall to the floor. He placed her on the bed and then slipped his boxers off. He crawled in the bed and pulled the sheets up over them. AJ wrapped his arms tightly around Gina and pulled her close to him. He loved the feel of her bare back against his chest.

Gina sighed, knowing he had won the war. She didn't mind though. She felt so relaxed in his arms. She's rather fail out of college then ever leave his touch. Gina closed her eyes as she took in his smell. It was a scent that didn't come from a bottle. It was his scent. Soon, they were both fast asleep.

Gina yawned and stretched her arms over head. She turned her body to look at AJ. He smiled when their eyes met and placed his hands on her cheek. They kissed for a moment and then AJ pulled away smiling. "Now thats how we should wake up from now on." Gina nodded and placed her hand on his back. She strated to move it up and down as she lightly scratched it. AJ's mouth hung open. "Ohhh how I love that." Gina giggled as she contiued to move her hand up and down. "I know. Thats why I'm doing it." Gina said with a flirty voice.

Around 11 o'clock they finally got out of bed. AJ got in the shower as Gina thought about how they were going to tell Isabelle about AJ. Gina sat on the couch as AJ soon joined her. They waited patiently for Danielle and Isabelle to come home.

AJ sighed. "I don't know what to say. I've never done this before." AJ said. Gina smiled slightly. "What? Never tell a 2 year old girl you're her father? I hope not." AJ smiled. Gina contiued. "It will be okay." AJ nodded and looked down. Gina suddnely felt like she wanted to cry. "AJ I'm so sorry for everything. I'm sorry that you missed the first two years of Isabelle's life." AJ grabbed hold of her hand. "It's okay." Gina shook her head. "No its not. All you ever told me was that you'd never do what your father did to you. There I go causing you to do it." "Gina, thats different. My father chose to leave. If I would have known about it I would have been with you every step of the way." Gina smiled. "Thank you AJ. All you have been is so understanding." She sighed and continued. "There wasn't a day that went by that I didn't think about you. It was kind of hard not to. Isabelle has your face. Especially your eyes. Looking into her eyes is like looking right into yours. I couldn't help but miss you every second of every day." AJ leaned in to give her a kiss. "I missed you too. But we are here now and we are together."

Shortly later, Danielle arrived home with Isabelle. Isabelle saw AJ and her mother sitting on the couch and quickly ran over to them. Danielle left them alone and went out for a drive.

Telling Isabelle wasn't easy. She was happy to find out that AJ was, and now would be her father. She didn't understand why he wasn't around before. Gina tried to explain as best as she could. After a half hour of answering Isbelle's questions as best as they could, everything seemed to work out fine. AJ told Gina he wanted to spend the rest of the week with Gina and Isabelle before he had to leave. Now, all Gina has to do was decide if she wants to leave California.
