AJ and Gina sat next to eachother silently in the limo as it made its way to the charity event. All AJ could do was look at Gina. She looked absolutly gorgeous. Her hair sat upon her shoulders and he thought it smelt better then anything he ever smelled before. When they dated she had really long hair and he liked it, but he always wanted her to cut it. He was glad she finally did. Her dress looked amazing on her. The way the top was cut showed a little of her cleavege. AJ couldn't help but take a few glances.
Gina turned her head to look at him. At first he thought she had caught him staring but she then smiled and asked, "Is the media going to be there?" AJ nodded. "Probably, but once everyone is inside they'll leave, so we shouldn't have trouble leaving, just going in. Hopefully there won't be to many people there." They were silent again for a few more moments.
Soon the limo stopped out front of a beautiful building. It almost looked like a castle. "Wow, I've lived here for almost 3 years and I didn't even know this place exsisted." Gina said looking out the window. AJ looked out with her and said, "Yeah, but we won't get to see much of it. The party is only in two rooms." Gina nodded and AJ smiled at her. "Well, are you ready Gina?" He asked. Gina took a deep breath and nodded. Just as AJ opened the door flashes came from every direction. AJ stepped out first and then held out his hand for Gina. She stepped out and held on tight to him as they made their way up the steps. AJ was right, there weren't many people there but it still was a little scary having people up in her face. Questions came from few of the reporters but AJ just continued to walk.
Soon they were inside the lobby and safe from the media. AJ was suprised when Gina continued to hold onto his hand. Suddnely, his heart started to beat faster. He didn't know how or why she made him feel this way. All he knew was that he liked it. Gina looked around and noticed the two rooms. AJ pointed to the one on the right. "Lets head in there and find Bob and Jane so we can say hi." Gina smiled. "Nicks parents? I haven't seen them in so long. I miss them." "They said the same of you. They were glad to hear you were coming." AJ said as they walked into the room. It was filled with tables and chairs. Almost every seat was filled with people having friendly conversations around the tables. Waiters walked around with bigs trays full of food and Gina sighed knowing how they felt. AJ noticed her expression and smiled at her. "You get to do the partying today." Gina smiled slightly.
AJ spotted Bob and Jane across the room and he led Gina over to them. Bob and Jane both smiled and waved when they saw them approaching. "Hi Bob. Hello Jane." AJ said polietly. "AJ, we are so glad you came." Bob said. Jane took Gina's hands. "Wow, look at you all grown up. You look so much more mature. You were, what, only 20 when we last saw you?" Gina nodded. Bob joined in. "They're not kids anymore. Nick just turned 21. Where does the time go?" "Its nice to see you both again." Gina said warmly. They both nodded and Jane turned to AJ. "I always thought you two looked great together. I'd have to say you are the best looking couple here." Gina blushed as AJ nodded. "Thank you."
"This seems to be the room were most of us older people are. You'll probably enjoy the room next door. It has a DJ and a dance floor. Nick is in there with Serena and his siblings." Bob informed them. AJ nodded. "Thanks." "Thank you for coming." Jane said. AJ and Gina both said good-bye and started walking in the opposite direction.
As they made their way to the other room AJ saw a few people he knew and stopped to talk for a few moments. Gina just stood and watched him. He looked amazing. He still had some red streaks in his hair and he had his chin ring in. He looked very handsom in his tux.
AJ said good-bye to the man he was talking to and then turned ot Gina. "Ya ready to do some dancing?" He asked. Gina nodded and smiled as AJ placed his hand on her lower back. They continued to walk to the other room. "Ya know, the whole two years we dated, I don't think I ever saw you in a tuxedo." Gina stated. AJ turned his head and looked her in the eyes. "Because they are so damn uncomforatble." Gina laughed. "Oh, I see. Well, you look good though." AJ smiled. "Thanks."
They stepped into the room and Gina looked around. There were small tables located around the dance floor. AJ spotted Nick on the dance floor and waved. Nick waved back and he and Serena made their way over to them. Nick went straight to Gina and gave her a hug. "I've missed you, girl." Nick said. Gina smiled and hugged him back. "I've missed you too, Nick." "This is my girlfriend Serena." Nick said grabbing hold of Serena's hand. Gina stuck out her hand to shake it. Serena accepted it and smiled warmly. "I'm really glad you came. Thank you." Nick said to AJ. "No problem." AJ said. Serena pointed to the table they stood next to. "This is our table if you want to put your purse down." She said. Gina nodded and put her purse and shawl down and took a seat.
"Do you want anything to drink?" AJ asked Gina. "Umm, just a sprite." Gina said. AJ nodded and walked towards the bar. Nick grabbed Serena's arm and led her back to the dance floor. Gina couldn't help but smile at them. She could tell they were so much in love. Gina turned her gaze over to AJ at the bar. He was having a conversation with Aaron. Gina giggled. Aaron looked adorable in his white tuxedo and top hat. She then started to think about how comfortable she felt with AJ. She hadn't felt that way in a long time. Actually, since she was with AJ. Suddenly, she felt the huge ball of guilt return in the pit of her stomach. She hated herself for keeping this from him.
A few moments later AJ returned to the table and handed Gina the sprite. "Thank you." She said. He nodded and took the seat next to her. "I'm sorry this is so boring." He said. Gina shook her head. "AJ, what are you talking about? I'm having fun." AJ cocked his head to the side. "You sure?" He asked. Gina nodded and smiled. Just then, Kci and Jojo's "Crazy" came on and AJ placed his hand on Gina's. "Care to dance?" He asked, smiling warmly. Gina nodded and stood with him.
They made their way to the dance floor and then AJ placed his arms around Gina's waist. Gina put her arms around his neck and smiled up at him. Although she had heels on he still was a bit taller then she was. AJ's heart, once again, started beating like crazy. He loved this women more than anything. He never stopped loving her and she had to know. "Gina, I still love you." He said. Gina almost fell over from shock. She still loved him too, but for some reason couldn't say anything. AJ leaned down and placed his lips on hers. Gina felt her knees go weak as she kissed him back.
I finally realize that you are my true love. And I had a lot of time to think and you're all I seem to keep think, to keep thinkin' of. And now I know I need ya aach and every day. I can't live without ya, so don't run away.
AJ suddenly felt something moist run by his cheek. He pulled away and saw a few tears fall from her eyes. AJ went to wipe them away but Gina pulled away from him. "Its, uh, its hot in here. I need some fresh air." Gina then turned away from AJ and started to walk out of the room. AJ stood in the middle of the dance floor confused.
