~*~3 MONTHS EARLIER~*~
AJ McLean stepped into the dark hotel room and flicked on the light. He threw his bags on the small couch in the middle of the room. He took a look around. Not to bad. Staying in a fancy hotel and has the master sweet. Vactioning in the Bahamas for two weeks. No Backstreet Boys. No fans. No one knew he was here besides the other four guys. It was great.
AJ pulled open the sliding wooden doors that led to the bedroom and layed down on the bed to rest for a minute. His cell phone rang in his pocket. He pulled it out and answered it. "Yeah?" "So, are ya there? Did ya hook up with any hot chicks yet?" The familiar 21 year old voice asked on the other end. AJ laughed as he sat up. "Nah, I've only been here for a little bit. How's everything there, Nick?"
"Good I guess. Kevin still thinks its stupid for you to go away for two weeks." AJ rolled his eyes. "Yeah, well since he got married he thinks a lot of things are stupid. You see my friend, thats why I don't plan to settle down till I retire. Only then I will know that I fully lived my life to the fullest without some woman pulling me down. I can party all night and drink all day."
Nick laughed. "Yeah, but you forget. Woman make it better." AJ smiled and nodded. "True. But I gotta jet. I have to go take a taxi so I can rent a car." "Okay. Talk to ya later." They said their good-byes and then AJ hung up his phone and head out to rent a car.
Stepping out on her balcony of her apartment, Gina placed her hand above her eyes to hide the bright sun from her face. She stood there for a bit taking in a few deep breaths. She didn't know when it happened, but suddenly she became a morning person. She used to hate waking up early to face the day. Now, it was like an adventure.
Gina stepped back in side a few moments later to answer the phone. "I'm sorry Gina," The usually chiper young voice said, "Nathan wants you to come in today." Britney, her co-worker informed her. Gina sighed. "Okay, I'll be there in about an hour." Gina quickly hung up the phone to get a shower.
An hour later Gina made it to the hotel where she worked. She was a watress in the club in the back of the building. She enjoyed working there because the hotel was always full of people who liked to come into the small club. They sometimes had bands perform and on weekends it was like working at a huge party .
Gina stepped into the lobby of the hotel. A man ran into her hard, almost knocking her to the ground. She looked up into the familar looking man's eyes. "I'm so sorry." He said apologetically. Gina nodded. "It's okay. Just watch where you're going next time." He nodded as he continued to stare into her eyes. Gina smiled slightly and started to walk to her destination.
AJ watched her as she walked away. Nice. He thought. But there was something different about her. It was her eyes. They were big and brown and he had never saw anything sparkle so much as they had. Her outfit looked like a watresses outfit and he figured she worked in the club. He made a note to himself to head there later on.
