Night clubs once seemed exciting. Now, to Gina, they couldn't be more boring then if she sat and watched the grass grow. Almost after every concert AJ dragged her along to one. In the beginning they were fun but now she was just so tired she could hardly stay awake.
Gina sat at a small round table across from Nick and Kevin. She desperately tried to pay attention to what they were saying but her boredom as well as the loud music and her headache was stopping her from having any consentration. Nick looked over at her and tapped her shoulder lightly. "You okay Gina? You look tired." Gina nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. I kinda wanna get out of here. Do you know where AJ went?" Kevin pointed behind him. "He's at the bar." Gina smiled. "Thanks. See ya guys tomorrow." She gave them both quick hugs and then made her way towards the bar.
Gina spotted AJ sitting on a bar stool at the end of the bar. Two blondes, who were standing awefully close to him, leaned up against the bar. She walked over to him and layed her hand lightly on his arm. "AJ baby..." AJ interupted her by lifting his hand up in the air. "Shhh, wait. Trish is in the middle of a funny story." He said, not taking his eyes of the blonde with the shorter hair.
Gina looked over at the woman. It was obvious they were drunk. The one that Gina figured was Trish gave her a stone cold look and then continued with her story. "As I was saying, we uhhh, we walked all the way to club totally trashed." She swayed back and forth and giggled uncontrollably as she talked. With each word she seemed to talk slower and slower. Gina rolled her eyes. This could take all night and she was in no mood to be there a minute longer. She spoke again. "AJ, I really don't fe..." He interupted her again. This time he looked over at her. "Gina, can't you wait one minute." She winced at the sound of his voice.
She didn't know if it was because she wasn't in the best mood or because for the first time she was jealous, but suddenly she became angry. She stepped in the middle of the girls and AJ, forcing him to look up at her. "I'm taking a taxi back to the hotel and going to sleep. I hope you have your key card because I'm locking the door." With that she turned and walked away.
Was she mad? AJ couldn't tell. What he did know was that there was no way he was going to let her take a taxi by herself at this time of night. He quickly chased after her and finally caught up with her outfront of the club. AJ grabbed her arm and pulled her back. "I'll go with you." He said. She forcefully pulled her arm from his and turned back towards the street. "I'm fine. Go back in the club and continue your wonderful conversation. I'm a big girl. I can make it back to the hotel by myself." She told him. "Why are you mad?" He asked as he stood infront of her. "I'm not. I'm tired and bored and so damn sick of being in clubs. I want to sleep."
Just then a taxi pulled up. Gina went to open the door but AJ quickly wrapped his arm around her waste and pulled her towards him. "You're not mad?" He asked as his dark brown eyes looked sweetly down at hers. She lowered her eyes and staired at the chain around his neck, unable to look him in the eyes. "I was just a little jealous, okay? I hated that you cared more about what some dumb blonde had to say more then what I had to say."
AJ placed his finger under her chin and lifted her head. Her eyes once again landed on his. "I'm sorry for being so rude to you. I love you and could never care about someone else more than you." Gina sighed. For some reason she was still a little angry, but she knew he was telling her the truth and that she'd get over it. "AJ, you can stay. I'll be fine I promise." With that, she pulled away from his embrace and got in the taxi. AJ watched as the car pulled away and he waited until he saw it disappear around the corner before heading back inside the club.
