"So, what time does she get here?" AJ asked as he came out of the bathroom in his hotel room. Gina looked up at him from reading a magazine on the bed. "The plane landed 20 minutes ago and it doesn't take very long to get here from the airport. I guess she'll be here any minute." She said with a smile. AJ couldn't help but smile himself. Danielle was coming on tour with them for the next week which is the last week of the tour.
He couldn't believe how fast the time flew by. Two whole months spent touring. Two whole months spent falling more in love then ever. AJ sat down next to her on the edge of the bed and left a small kiss on her head. Gina smile sweetly up at him and then, suddenly, sat up quickly. "What? What's the matter?" AJ asked concerned. "Did you hear that?" She said grabbing his arm tightly. "Hear what?" He asked. "Shhh." And they both were silent. AJ heard nothing. Then, after a moment, he heard a female voice shout "Jesus Christ" out in the hallway.
A wide smile appeared on Gina's face. "She's here!" She yelled and jumped off the bed, almost knocking AJ over. He followed her to the door and they saw Danielle a few doors down kicking her bag that was on the floor. She stopped and looked up seeing Gina and smiled. "Hey girl." Gina walked over to her and gave her a hug. AJ watched as the two girls embraced. He knew what it was like to be away from a best friend for so long and he knew it was probably really hard since they were like sisters.
"Why are you kicking your bag around?" Gina asked. Danielle smiled shyly. "It uh, it was giving me some trouble." Gina laughed as AJ came up next to her. "Hey AJ." Danielle said with a warm smile. AJ smiled back. "Welcome to the hectic life of the Backstreet Boys. Think ya can handle it?" Danielle nodded. "Yeah, I hope I can."
AJ and Gina followed her in the room after she stepped in. "Hey, I got two beds." Danielle said as she layed down on one of them. "Yeah, I can stay in here with you." Gina added. Danielle sat up and smiled. "Slumber party!" Gina giggled and then turned towards AJ. "Is it okay with you if I stay with her for the rest of the tour?" Gina asked. AJ bit his lip. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. "But it's the last week we'll be on the road together. I wanted to spend every night with you." He said lightly in her ear. Gina sighed as she looked into his deep brown eyes. "You're right. That would be selfish of me." She told him.
AJ paused and staired at her. Danielle was her best friend and she hadn't seen her in so long. She should be able to hang out with her as much as she wanted to. "Ya, know what? You stay with Danielle. Making you stay with me would be so selfish." AJ said. Gina smiled. "Really?" AJ nodded and Gina kissed him lightly. "I don't have to stay with her every night, ya know." Gina said with a smile. AJ gave her a sexy smirk.
AJ never saw two people talk so much in his life. Gina and Danielle seemed to talk about every subject that ever exsisted whenever they were in the same room together. Which was often since they hadn't left each others side since the second Danielle arrived.
A few times it made AJ feel a little uncomfortable. It was like Gina had a whole different life with Danielle. They had so many inside jokes and stories, AJ couldn't keep up with them all. He realized he had been beaten. All this time he thought he was the one person who understood her completly, but he figured out Danielle probably knew ten times more about her then he does. Although, he had nothing against Danielle. Infact, he liked her a lot. He was just determined to find out everything Gina had been hiding.
Another show down, one more to go. AJ stepped off his bus infront of the hotel and walked over to the few fans scattered around. He was suprised that there wasn't more. He figured they were still back at the arena. He made small talk, signed a few autographs, posed for some pictures and then said good-bye before heading inside.
AJ saw Gina leaning against the couch in the lobby. She smiled at him as he made his way towards her. "Hey, where's Danielle?" "She went up to bed. She was pretty tired." Gina told him. "Did she enjoy tonights show?" He asked. Gina nodded. "Yeah. I can't believe we only have one left." AJ yawned and nodded in agreement. "I know." He wrapped his arms tightly around her waist. "Ya know, I still haven't gotten my night with you yet." He leaned down and kissed her softly. Gina quickly pulled away. "AJ, the fans outside can see us. I don't feel like getting killed tonight." AJ smiled. "So, what do you suppose we do?" Gina gave him a sexy smirk. "I suppose we head upstairs."
