Gina leaned back as AJ crawled onto the bed next to her and started to softly kiss her lips. He then made a trail across her jaw line and down her neck. It amazed Gina that with one simple touch, he could send thousands of tiny shocks throughout her whole body. This wasn't supposed to happen. She wasn't supposed to fall in love. But she did and now there's nothing she could do and it scared her. Before she could stop herself she started crying.
AJ stopped kising her neck and looked at her. "Baby, why are you crying?" Gina shook her head and sat up. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to start crying." She quickly wiped her tears away. AJ went to push a few stray hairs out of her face but she quickly moved away from him. He watched her as she walked across the room to the glass doors of the balcony. She crossed her arms and stared outside. AJ got up and followed her. "Are you okay? Do you want to talk about whatever it is that seems to keep bothering you?" Gina moved away from him and walked back over to the bed. AJ once again followed her across the room. He was more confused then ever and was starting to get a little angry.
Silence hung in the air. Neither one of them new what to say. Gina sat on the edge of the hotel room bed. She held her head in her hands. AJ sat in the chair facing her. "Are you going to answer me?" AJ asked, finally breaking the long silence. "What do you want me to say?" She said, leaving her head down. She was afraid to look in his eyes. Scared that if she might, she would pour out everything that was on her mind.
"Tell me what is going on." AJ stated, moving closer to her. "Nothing. I'm telling you the truth." AJ shook his head. "I don't believe you." He leaned back in the chair and crossed his arms. Gina shot her head up and looked at him. "Fine. Don't then." AJ sighed as he ran his hand through his dark brown hair. "Gina, please tell me something. What is the matter?" Gina looked away and shook her head. There was another long silence.
"Is this about your family?" AJ asked. Gina turned her head towards him. "What?" AJ sighed. "You never once talked about your family. Everytime I bring it up you change the subject." "This has nothing to do with my family!" Gina shouted as she stood up. She started walking towards the door. AJ stood and grabbed her arm. "Please don't leave." He said, staring deep into her eyes. Something was different about them and it scared him. They seemed sad and lost. Gina tried pulling her arm out of his grasp, but AJ was too strong.
"Let me go!" She shouted. "What? Are you gonna run away like you did LAST TIME? Just like the night of the club! You run when things get TOO hard for you to deal with! Does that seem easier for you? Because it isn't for me! We need to talk about this!" "Screw you AJ! I don't need this shit right now!" Once again tears started to form in Gina's eyes. AJ grabbed her other arm with his free hand. "Gina, you are scaring the hell out of me! Tell me what the fuck is going on with you!" Gina pulled away with all her might, freeing herself from his grasp. "I just need to be alone!" She yelled and headed for the door.
AJ watched her go. He watched her leave his hotel room and walk down the hallway to Danielle's room. He wanted to follow her but he knew she needed her space. AJ sat back down in the chair and broke down in tears.
