~~~If You Knew What I Knew~~~
~~~~~~CHAPTER 15~~~~~~
AJ peaked his head in the dressing room. He saw Nick sitting on the couch drinking a soda. "Yo Nick, C'mon we gotta get to the stage. Charmed is almost done." Nick looked up. "AJ, I'm sorry about yesterday." AJ sighed and stepped in the room. "Me too." Nick continued. "It's none of my business what you do. It's just...I guess...I was just worried that either you or Gina would get hurt, thats all." "Nick, I am going to tell her. I'm just waiting for the right time. I just hope she don't dump my ass." AJ lowered his head. "I'm sorry what I said about you and all those girls." Nick nodded. "You do know that was before I even met Christina." AJ smiled. "Yeah. Oh, and for the record, I didn't sleep with Amanda. I swear. I went over and watched a movie. That was it. I told her I had to get up early the next day, and I left." Nick put his hands up. "Hey, it's none of my business." He the stood up. "Friends?" AJ pulled him in for a hug. "Brothers." Nick smiled. "Okay AJ, let's get to the stage."

Elena, Brian, Danielle, Kevin and Laura sat in the entertainment room on the bus. Brian held the remote-control flipping through the channels. Eventually he left it on The Simpsons. He turned and smiled at Elena who sat next to him. "So, your birthday is in like 4 days and I still don't know what to get you. Do you like want roses or jewlery? What?" Elena rolled her eyes. "Roses are such a cliche. That's all that guys get girls. Birthday's-Roses, Valentine's Day-Roses, Mother's Day-Roses. I would much rather have picked daisey's wrapped up in a napken or even wrapped in a piece if paper that has a poem written on it, then get boring roses. I guess it's just me." "So," Brian said, "you want daisey's?" Elena sighed. "What I'm saying is I want something from your heart, not your wallet." "Very true." Danielle agreed. Kevin grounded. "I'll never complety understand women. They all want different things. I once wrote Jessica a poem and she said I was cheap." Danielle rolled her eyes. "Well Kev, she didn't apritiate you, but I do. I would love anything that you wrote for me." He smiled. "Thanks." Then he leaned over and kissed her. Laura stood up. "Aright, I had enough lovey-dovey stuff. I have to go met Pat. We're going shopping then getting something to eat." She said with a smile on her face.

"That's to fancy. Remember, it's Rosie not the Grammy's." Pat sighed. "Well I don't know. I'm not good with girl stuff." Laura and Pat had been looking all day for an outfit that Laura could wear on Rosie O'Donnell next week when Charmed is on. "I like these pants. I could wear it with that shirt I like over there." She pointed across the store. "Good, great. Let's get it and go. My stomach is going to explode. I am so hungry." Laura patted his tummy as she walked past him to the register. "I'm sorry that I'm being a pain." She said. Pat smiled. "It's okay. Now let's go."
Laura sipped her soda then placed it back down on the table. Pat had been smiling at her the whole time she ate. "What?" She asked. He shook his head. "Nothing. I was just thinking of how much I love you." Laura's face froze. She didn't know what to say. All she could get out was, "Thank You."
"Thank you? Ohh that hurts." Brian told Pat as they stood in line for food in the cafeteria. Pat was telling Brian and Kevin what had happened earlier. "Then what happned?" Kevin asked waiting in suspense. "Nothing. We came back here." Nick slipped in line infront of Pat. "I don't think so Nicky boy. Get in the back." Nick gronded. "C'mon, please." Brian sighed. "Fine, Nick get infront of me." Nick smiled widely. "Thanks Bri." They recieved their food and sat down at an empty table. "So what do you think I should do?" Pat asked. "She'll come around. Soon she'll being saying I love you so much that you wont know what to do." Pat looked over at the far table. Laura sat across from Drew. It looked like she was in middle of a funny story because when she was done speaking Drew was laughing hystrically. Pat turned back to the guys. "Did Laura and Drew used to date?" "Why do you say that?" Kevin asked. Pat sighed. "They are always togther. I don't know." Nick looked up. He was in his own world the whole time and now he decieded to join the conversation. "Well, Laura really liked Drew and she told him. He said he felt the same way but he wasn't looking for a girlfriend. Then like last month he said he was, but it was to late cause obviously she is with you." Pat stood up. "Oh...well I gotta go." And he walked out of the cafeteria. Kevin slapped Nick on the arm. "Good job." Nick rubbed his arm. "What?" Brian rolled his eyes. "You just told Pat that Laura, his girlfriend, has feelings for someone else." Nick waved his hand infront of his face. "Nuh uh. She don't like him no more. Does she?...Guys?...Oh crap, did I screw up again?" Kevin and Brian both rolled ther eyes.

Karen knocked on Jeff's hotel room door. There was no answer. "Jeff? Are you in there?" A few moments later. he opened the door. "Sorry. I was on the phone." "Oh, I'm sorry." She said. He stepped aside so she could come in. "So whats up?" she asked. Jeff sat down on the bed next to her. "I have to leave for the next week. I'll be back though." "Leave? To where? Why?" She asked. Jeff sighed. "My cousin has cancer. I'm going to go home so I can be with her." Karen placed her hand on his leg. "Is she okay?" Jeff nodded. "Yeah, I mean she isn't getting better, but she isn't get worse either so..." He tralled off. Karen smiled. "Okay. I'll miss you, but it's for a good reason." She leaned over and kissed him. "I'm leaving tomorrow. I'll call you when I get there." Karen nodded. "Okay, I'll help you pack."

Elena's 25th birthday had arrived. She got many stuffed animals from the other guys in the group but hadn't gotten anything from Brian yet. She wondered what he had in store. The whole day went by and still nothing. Concert time came around, everyone came on the stage and sang happy birthday to her. Brian gave her a kiss, but still nothing. She was starting to get worried that he got her nothing. She isn't greedy but she was kind of hoping he took what she said to heart about wanting something from his heart. When the concert ended everyone returned back at the hotel. Elena got out the key to her door and opened it. When she stepped inside her breath was taken away. There was candles everywhere. She looked over at her bed and there were daisy's laying all over it. She smiled. There was a piece of paper as well. She walked over to it and picked it up. It was a poem.
'LOVING YOU'
Your brown hair,
your beautiful eyes,
just send chills
down my spine.
The sight of you
makes me weak.
My palms start to sweat
and I can not speak.
Wrapped up in your arms
our heartbeats combine,
so close togther
our souls intertwine.
My love for you grows
with each passing day,
I never thought it was possible
to love anyone this way.
Under it it said, "Happy Birthday. Love always and forever, Brian."
Elena stood there not knowing what to do. A tear ran down her face. She felt someone step up behind her. She knew who it was. His hands layed gently on her arms and he kissed her neck. "Happy Birthday." Elena spun around. "Brian!" She threw her arms around his neck and kissed him passionatly. She pulled away. "Oh Brian, this is the best present I ever recieved." Brian kissed her on the forehead. "Nah, the poem isn't that good." Elena nodded her head. "Yes it is. You know why? Because it came from your heart." She touched his chest where is heart was pounding. She looked at him funny. "You heart is jumping out of your chest." Brian wrapped his arms tighter around her waste. "You do that to me. I love you so much." Elena felt another tear fall from her eye. "I love you you too."
