AJ sat on the bed while Nick flipped through the channels on the television. "So, what are you gonna do tonight since we got off?" AJ asked. Nick set the remote down when he found something he liked. "Watch a movie with Christina." Then there was a silence. Nick looked over at AJ. "So, what's up with you and Gina?" AJ shrugged his shoulders. I don't know. I really like her. She likes me too, I know it." "But AJ, if something develops between you two then she will just get hurt unless you tell her about..." AJ interupted him. "No, Nick. I'm not. I don't have to tell her its no big deal." Nick shook his head. "I don't know, man. To me it seems like a huge deal."
Later on that day Christina joined Nick in watching tv. AJ picked up his cell phone and the keys to the bus and went down to the bus to get some privacy. He decieded to call his mom. She said her new boyfriend was over so he let her go. He sat there in silence. It seemed to him as if everyone had someone but him. Brian had Alison, Kevin was hanging with Danielle, Howie spent most of his time hitting on the female dancer, and Nick had Christina. Then he thought for a second. That also means Gina was lonely too. She walked around by herself all of the time. She kept to herself a lot. Then he remembered that if Christina was rooming with her but she was with Nick then Gina was in the room by herself. He got up and left the bus. He went up to his room. He stepped in quietly. Nick and Christina had fallen asleep in eachothers arms. AJ picked up his bag of cloths and walked down the hall. He knocked on her door and after a moment or two she opened the door. AJ looked her up and down. It looked like she was getting ready for bed. Her hair was in a pony tail. She had baby blue shorts on and a white tank top. It was obvious she didn't have a bra on and AJ smiled a little when he noticed. Gina saw him looking and crossed her arms. "What do you want?" "Can I ask you a huge favor?" She nodded her head. "Christina is in there with Nick and I don't wanna be in there if they start doing the nasty, so do you think I can crash in here tonight?" Gina rolled her eyes. "Fine." She opened the door and let him in. He set his bag on the bed and sat down. Gina sat down on the opposite bed. "So you gonna get changed or are you gonna sleep in that?" AJ stood up. "Oh yeah. I'll go in the bathroom." He picked up his bag and went in the bathroom. A few minutes later he returned with nothing but boxers on. It took Gina by surprise. She always knew he had a nice body, but wow! He sat down and he put his fingers on the waste band of the boxers. Gina quickly looked over at him. "What are you dong?" "Taking these off." Gina shook her head. "Oh, no, no, no. I don't think so." "But thats how I sleep." "I don't care. You're not tonight." AJ smiled. "Fine. But its not fair that I gotta leave these on but you can have no bra on." Gina laughed and threw her pillow over at him. It smaked him right in the head. He tosed it back at her lightly. "Can I ask you a question?" Gina smiled. "Ya just did." AJ smiled. "You know what I mean. How come you hated me at first and now you don't?" Gina smiled widely. "Who's to say I still don't?" She paused for a second. "It's a long story." AJ got up and sat down next to her. "I got time."
Gina took a deep breath. "Its because I like you a lot." AJ nodded his head. "Oh I see. Classic story: Girl likes guy so girl becomes bitchy to him. What a way to win my heart." He said sarcastically. Gina shook her head. "No, its not like that. Something happened to me like 5 yeas ago that screwed me up." AJ placed his hand on her leg, not really understanding but just to show he was listning. "I used to date this guy Mike. I knew him from grade school. We started dating in 7th grade. It was the type of thing that was like 'Oh, thats my boyfriend over there isn't he cute?' Freshman year was when we actually started to hang out and stuff. He was my first kiss. We dated for a long time off and on. Junior year he started to hang out with a different group of friends. They were a little more 'experianced' if ya know what I mean. He told me many times that he wanted to be my first. I told him I wanted to wait. I thought a lot and realized I really love him. So we did. The next day in school I told him I wanted it to be a while before we did it again. He dumped me. Right there infront of everyone." A few tears ran down her cheek. "A few weeks after that the group was starting to really kick off. We had to leave school and all so I never saw him again. Since then, everytime I like I guy I push him away before I can get close to him so I don't get hurt." Now she was really crying. AJ wrapped his arms around her. "I'm sorry. I didn't know it was that bad. I thought you were just playing hard to get." Gina laughed a little. AJ wipped her tears away. He smiled. "So ya like me?" Gina smiled. "Yeah." She lowered her head. "Thanks for listnening to me. You probably think I'm a huge loser." He placed his hands under her face. "No I don't." He pulled her close and kissed her. When they pulled away AJ looked at the clock. "We better get to sleep." Gina smiled and turned off the lamp next to the bed.

Danielle layed in the darkness talking to Laura. They couldn't get to sleep so they decieded to chat. "So how's Kevin feeling?" "He still is upset. He probably will be for a while. I try to get him to talk abouut it but he changes the subject. He will when he is ready." Danielle sighed. "So, whats up with you? Got your eye on someone?" Laura laughed. "You know me to well. I think Drew is so cute. But the bad thing is he thinks were just friends." "Then tell him you want to be more than that." Danielle said. Laura sighed. "Its not that easy." Danielle sighed along with her. "I know. Try liking a guy that is in pain because the love of his life left him and he is oblivious to anything else that is going on." Laura turned over in her bed. "We need men." Danielle laughed. "I agree."
