****CHAPTER 10****
***GINA'S PERSPECTIVE***
The days were going quickly. Almost
every night we had a show with a few days off
in between. Before we new it we were pulling
in to a hotel in Philly. When we arrived we
unpacked and then picked up my cell phone to
call my parents. I looked at the clock. It
was 7:00pm. They should be home. After three
rings, my moms haapy voice picked up the
phone. "Hi honey! How is everything?" I
gasped. "How did you know it was me?" She
giggled. "Caller I.D., sweety." I smiled.
"Oh, well everything is fine. We just checked
in and all." AJ walked in the room. I smiled
at him as he started to unpack. "So why don't
you come on over?" I sighed. "I don't know
mom. We got to rest. We have a show
tommorrow.
Speaking of that, you are coming right?"
"Yup. Can't wait. Please come over. I haven't
seen my
baby in such a long time. Just for a hour or
so, and you can bring AJ so we can finally
meet him." I sighed. "Alright mom, you win.
But we can only stay for a hour." She agreed.
"Okay, I'll tell your father. Are yu coming
now?" I giggled at AJ, who was making faces
at me. "Yeah, we'll be there in about 20
minutes." After saying goodbye, I hung up the
phone. AJ smiled at me. "Your going to see
your parents?" I smiled at him. "We." He
looked at me funny. "I am going too?" I sat
on the bed next to him. "Why, you don't wanna
meet my parents?" He finished unpacking. "Of
course I do. But will they like me?"
I looked him up and down. "Well let's see.
Your hair isn't died this month, so can't
complain about that and, here, put this
sweater on to cover those tattoo's." He gave
me an evil look. I smiled. "I am just
kidding. They already know what you look
like, they do have a tv, ya know. I am sure
they will love you as much as I do." I kissed
him on his head. He looked in my eyes. "So,
your father, is he a big man?" I giggled as
we walked out of the room.
We were on the road towards my parents
house. Soon we pulled up infront. We got
out and I grabbed AJ's hand as we walked to
the front door. We stepped inside. My dad was
sitting on the couch flipping through the
channels. He stood when we walked in. I
smiled. "Hi daddy." I walked over and gave
him a kiss. "Dad, this is AJ. AJ, my dad."
They both said hello and shook hands. When
they let go, AJ grabbed my hand again. My dad
looked at him. "Did I say you could hold my
daughters hand?" AJ let go of my hand very
quickly. "No sir." My dad laughed. "I'm just
kidding. Your a grown man, you can do as you
please. Just take good care of her." AJ
smiled nervously. "Will do." Just then my mom
walked down the steps. "Oh there she is. Look
how beuitiful she has gotten." She ran over
and kissed me all over my face. "Mom please."
She looked me in the eyes. "I am your mother
and I can kiss you when I want. I used to
wipe your bottom." I sighed and looked at AJ
who was giggling. My mom walked over to him.
"So this is the wonderful AJ that Gina talks
about all the time. Nice to finally meet
you." AJ smiled. "Likewise." My mom hugged
him and the walked over and whisperd in my
ear. "Very sexy. You definitly have your
mothers taste." I blushed. "Mom!" We sat and
talked for a while. My mom pulled out baby
pictures of me. she showed AJ pictures of me
and Nick when we were little. We found one
were Nick had on a woman's hat on with high
heels and pearls. AJ couldn't stop laughing
at it. "Do you mind if I take this with me?"
My mom smiled. "Sure, why?" AJ stuck it in
his pocket. "That boy needs to be
embarrassed. I am showing to everyone when we
get back, especiallly Christina. She has to
see who she is really dating, ha ha!" I
smaked him in the arm. "Aww, your so mean."
He smiled. "I know."
It started to get late and we said we
had to go. My parents said they will see us
tomorrow at the concert. When we got back to
the hotel AJ ran in Christina's room to show
her the picture. Eventually everyone was in
there laughing at it. Nick walked in. "What
is so funny?" AJ held up the picture. "Nice
style you got going here." Nick grabbed it
from him. "Where did you get this?" I smiled
at him. "Sorry man, we were at my parents
house and AJ saw it and brought it here."
Nick gave AJ a look because he was still
laughing. "Laugh it up, Dumbass." AJ got
angry. "What you call me?" Nick shot back.
"Oh, so your stupied and deaf?" Soon they
were
wrestling on the ground. Kevin came in and
picked AJ up off Nick. "What the hell is
going on?" AJ fixed his messed up hair.
"Nothing, Nick is being a mamma's boy." Nick
was going to say something but Kevin stopped
him. "That's enough. Lately you two have been
getting on my nerves, constantly fighting and
busting on eachother. Let's all just go to
bed. It's late and were all tired."
The next morning AJ ran into Nick in the
lobby. They both said they were sorry for
acitng like idiots. Nick said he was only
upset because he saw Christina laughing at
him and all he wants is for her to like him.
AJ told him she wouldn't be dating him if she
didn't. Soon we were getting ready for the
show. Me and Elena were sitting back stage
when we heard
some comotion going on. We got up to see one
of the body guards, Q is his name, giving
three girls some trouble saying they didn't
have passes so they couldn't come back. I
looked to see who they were and then
recognized them. The on was Laura's sister
Lisa and the other two were here friends,
Lynn and Carrie. They are all 17. Me and
Elena walked
over to them. "Q, it is okay. This is Lisa,
Laura's sister, and two of her friends." Q
looked at me. "Are you sure?" I sighed. "Yes
I am sure." He moved his arm and let them
pass. They ran over to us and we all shared a
group hug. I smiled. "Come on,
lets go find Laura." We walked in one of the
rooms. Everyone was back there. When we
walked in, Laura stood up and ran over to hug
them. We introduced the three of them to the
guys. We chatted for a few minutes, but then
the girls decided to go take their seats.
I walked out in the hallway, the first
one dressed. AJ walked out of his room. "Hey,
you ready to show Philly what you got?" I
smiled. "Yup. I love it here." He wrapped his
arms around my waste. "You make me so happy.
I love you so much." I smiled. "I love you
too." We kissed each other for a moment, but
then we heard someone clear their throught.
We both looked up and saw my parents standing
there. My mom smiling and my dad with his
arms crossed. AJ pulled away from me quickly.
"Sorry." My mom kissed me on the cheek. "It's
okay, we
just came back here to say good luck." I
smiled.
"Thanks." I hugged my dad and they left to go
take their seats. I giggled at AJ. "Why are
you so scared of my father?" He groaned.
"Because he looks like he wants to kill me."
I smiled. "As long as he thinks we don't
share a hotel room, we are fine." His mouth
opened wide. "Oh God, if he finds out he will
hunt me down and shoot me." I hugged him.
"Calm down. He doesn't kill, he hurts, but
doesn't kill." He got a terrified look on his
face. Just then everyone was called to get in
their places. I kissed him on the cheek and
went to my spot.
The days were passing by. Laura and
Kevin's birthdays both passed by. Kevin now
28 and Laura 20. We were making
our way across the country. Me and Nick made
our way to the back of the bus. He challenged
me to a B-ball game on Playstation. As we got
back there, we saw Laura sitting on the couch
crying. I sat next to her, Nick sat on the
other
side. I rubbed her back. "Sweety, what's
wrong?" She looked up at me, her eyes red and
filled with tears. "I don't think me and
Justin are gonna work out. I sighed. "Why?"
She wipped her tears away. "I don't know. I
miss him so much and we hardly call eachother
any more. God, I hate this. I love
being on tour, ya know, this is a once in a
life time type thing. Yet, I wanna be with
him." Nick brushed her hair out of her face.
"You still have us." She smiled through her
tears. "I know." Nick got a happy look on his
face, like a light bulb went on over his
head. "I have a phat idea. We have today and
tomorrow off. Why don't we go to a club
tonight? Just the three of us." I sighed.
"Nick we are all under 21 remember." Laura
wipped her last tear away. "There are some
clubs that are 17 to 21. We can go to one of
them." I smiled and stood up. "Alright, cool.
Then lets go."
We went into the hotel to get ready. I
went to my room and picked out clothes. AJ
was on the bed asleep. I snuck in and got
ready queitly. Just as I was about ready he
woke up. "Where are you going, looking oh so
hot." I turned to face him. "Sorry, did I
wake you." He streched his arms. "No. So
where are ya goin'?" I smiled. "Us young
ones, are going to a club." He sat up. "Yo,
can I go?" I shook my head. "Nope. Your to
old." He looked at me funny. "Huh?" I sat on
the bed. "Only me, Laura and Nick are going.
All of us are under 21." He sighed. "But your
20, same thing." He scratched his head. "You
can go though. I am tired anyway. Just don't
be flirting with any guys." I smiled. "Don't
worry, I will." He gave me a look. I smiled
and walked out the door.
