****CHAPTER 11****
I rolled over in the bed and noticed I
was alone. I opened my eyes and AJ walked in
the room from the bathroom. He had nothing on
but his boxer shorts and a cigarette in his
mouth. I looked at his freshly died hair. I
got out of the bed and walked over to him. I
ran my fingers through his bright red tipes.
He smiled. "Ya like?" I smiled at him. "I
like. Did you just do it now?" He shook his
head. "I got up like super early so I decided
I needed some color." He put the cigarette in
the ash tray. "Sorry, I know you hate that."
I rubbed my sleepy eyes. He smiled at me.
"What time did you get in last night?" As I
looked up at him I yawned. "Um...about
2:30-3:00 I guess." He laughed. "Man you must
have had fun." I walked over and sat on the
bed. "Yeah, and I am glad we got Laura's mind
off of Justin."
After getting my shower, AJ told me
everyone was going down to the pool to
hangout. We both put on our bathing suits and
made our way down to the pool area. Everyone
was down there having fun, including the band
and the guy dancers. We walked over to where
Nick, Christina and Laura were. Christina
smiled as we walked over. "I was just saying
that Laura and Nick look worn out and so do
you." I smiled. "Yeah, well we danced none
stop last night. It was fun." Nick smiled.
"These are my dancin' buddies, baby." Nick
wrapped his arms around Laura and gave her a
big hug. Christina looked a little
uncomfertable when he did it. I decided to
break the ice. "Anyone want a soda?" Laura
smiled. "Yeah, I'll go with ya." Nick started
to walk with us. "I'll go too."
*Christina's Perspective*
I sighed as they walked away. I walked
over to the pool and sat on the edge so I
could stick my feet in. AJ walked over and
sat down next to me. "Alright girl, what's
wrong?" I looked up at him. "How did you now
something is bothering me?" He smiled. "I
have a gift." I looked up at his hair. "I
like your hair, looks good." He smiled again.
"Thanks." I looked over at the other end of
the pool and saw Brian holding Elena over the
edge of the pool. She was laughing and
telling him to put her down. Danielle was
trying to help, but Kevin picked her up and
threw her in the pool. Brian then threw Elena
in. Kevin and Brian gave eachother high
fives. Danielle and Elena got out of the
water and then pushed Kevn and Brian in. Me
and AJ laughed at the whole scene. I looked
back over at AJ. I sighed. "Don't you think
Nick and Laura are spending a lot of time
together?" He shrugged his shoulders. "And?"
I looked down at the water. "I mean, Don't
you ever worry Gina has feelings for Nick?"
He giggled. "Yeah right, those two? Sure they
know everything about eachother and get along
great, but they are like brother and sister,
they fight like brother and sister and love
eachother like brother and sister. Besides,
their best friends and have known eachother
way to long." I sighed. "Yeah, well Laura and
Nick haven't known eachother as long." He
looked at me funny. "Wait are yu saying you
think Nick likes Laura? Yeah right, like I
said before, that boy is head in the clouds,
ass backwards in love with you." Gina and
Nick walked towards us. They sat down next
me. I looked at Gina. "Where's Laura?" She
sipped her soda. "She went to her room to get
a brush or something." I stood up. Nick
looked at me. "Now where you going?" I kept
walking. "To go see Laura." AJ sighed,
knowing why I was going to see her but I
didn't care.
I knocked on the door and I heard Laura
say, "Come in." I stepped in and she smiled
at me as I walked over and sat on the bed.
She was looking though her bag and I figured
she was looking for her brush. I sighed. "Can
I talk to you for a sec." She pulled out her
brush and sat down next to me. "Yeah, about
what?" I looked in her eyes. "Do you have
feelings for Nick? I mean, you can tell me
the truth." She looked at me confused. "What
are you talking about? Nick is just my
friend." I sighed. "Yeah, but lately you guys
have been spending a lot of time together.
You are always hugging and stuff. You can
tell me if you like him. I am a little upset
though." She stood up infront of me. "I don't
believe this. You are accussing us both of
cheating. I like Justin. Nick is just my
friend. And why are you only talking to me,
Gina acts just the same." I looked up at her.
"Because they are like close friends." Her
face became very angry and upset. "Yeah, and
he is just a friend of mine. Something you
aren't very good at!" She turned and stormed
out the door. Why didn't I listen to AJ? Now
I totally screwed everything up.
Just then there was a knock on the door
and Howie walked in. "Is everything alright?
I heard some screaming. I sighed. "Yeah, I
just am being a total idiot. I just blamed
Laura for trying to steal Nick from me." He
walked over and sat next to me. "Oh, wow. Why
would you do that? They are just friends." I
sighed. "I know. I guess I am just worried I
am gonna lose Nick. I am really starting to
care about him." I got up. "Will you excuse
me? I have to go talk to Laura." He smiled.
"Sure. Go ahead."
***Nick's Perspective***
I swam over to were Danielle and Elena
were. I put my hands on Elena's shoulders and
dunked her. She came up laughing. "Dork!" She
splashed me. Danielle started to help her.
Soon Brian and Kevin came over and started to
help me. Soon we had a water war going on.
When I was tired I jumped out of the pool to
dry off. I walked over to the table were AJ
and Gina were sitting. I sat down in the
empty chair. Laura walked up looking upset.
"What's wrong?" She slid a chair over and
sat. "Christina just came in my room and kept
saying that she thinks we have feelings for
eachother." I got confused. "What? Why?" She
sighed. "I don't know, but I blew up at her
and now I feel horriable." I scratched my
head. "Alright, now I'm confused." AJ pointed
past me. "Well bro, here is your chance to
clear this all up, here she comes." I turned
to face Christina as she walked up. She did
the same
as Laura and pulled a chair over. She looked
right into Laura's eyes. "I am so sorry. I
didn't mean to hurt you by saying that. I am
just worried." Laura sighed. "It's okay. I'm
sorry for blowing up at you. What are you
worried about?" She turned to me. "I am
worried I am gonna lose him." I looked deep
in her eyes. "Why would you lose me?" She
sighed. "In the beginning, all you did is
want to be with me, and now that we are
finally together I am afraid I am not what
you expected." I ran my fingers through her
hair. "Of course your what I expected. You
are so caring and loving and understanding. I
could go on and on about how much you mean to
me." She smiled. "I'm sorry about all of
this." She turned back to Laura. "I am really
glad you guys became such good friends." They
gave eachother a hug. She turned back to me
and I kissed her. "Don't ever worry about
losing me again. I am always here for you." I
kissed her again. AJ and Gina started to
clap. "Well thank God this confusion is
over."
