****CHAPTER 15****

**GINA'S PERSPECTIVE**

I walked in the door and saw Danielle watching TV. I sat down next to her. "Hey, what's up?" She shrugged her shoulders and kept her eyes on the tv screen. "Nothin'. How was the video shoot?" I sat back on the couch. "Whoa, I am worn out. It was great though. Mandy is such a cutie." She looked at me and smiled. I looked at the tv to see what she was watching. I giggled when I saw Homer Simpson appear on the screen. Me and Danielle love The Simpsons. We could answer any question about any episode. We have seen each one like a million times. I leaned back on the couch. "Yo, this is like the best one! When they go to that beach house!" I looked over at her and she justed giggled. I sighed. "So how ya doing with the whole studio thing?" She sighed. "I am still looking for a place to have it at."

Danielle opened her arms. "Can I have a hug?" I giggled. "Okay." I leaned over and gave her a hug. She wispherd in my ear. "I'm gonna miss you." I pulled away to looked in her eyes. "What? Why?" She sighed. "Well, you'll be moving out soon and then getting married. I mean, we wouldn't be the best of friends anymore. You'll have a whole new life." I shook my head. "What? No, Danielle, just because I am getting married doesn't mean we wouldn't be best friends anymore. We have been through way to much together, I'm not just gonna throw our friendship away because AJ is in my life." She looked down at her feet. "Yeah, I know. I'm acting crazy. Don't get me wrong though, I am bursting with joy for you. Gina, your getting married." I shrieked. "Ehhh, I know!" I leaned in and hugged her again.

The next day AJ invited us over for a Bar-B-Que. Christina was sick so she couldn't go and Laura was going out with Justin to meet his family. Nick came over our house to keep Christina company. Elena, Danielle and I showed up at AJ's around 12:00. When we got there we went straight outback. I handed AJ the egg salad I promised I'd bring. We all sat down at the table where Kevin and Howie sat talking. They smiled at us as we sat. AJ went in the house. A few moments later he returned with a plate with frozen hamburgers and hot dogs on it. He placed them on the grill and came over and sat next to me. We chatted for a while. After about 15 minutes Brian came walking back hand-in-hand with Beth. We all gasped and Elena just sighed. They were both laughing, then Brian saw Elena and he stopped. AJ waved at both of them. "Hey Brian, Hi Beth." She smiled. Brian introduced her to us. "Beth this is Gina, Danielle and you remember Kevin and Howie." She smiled again. "How could I forget?" He looked at Elena. "This is Elena." Beth smiled. "Oh, this is Elena. I didn't recognize you, being that the last time I saw you, you were running away crying." She wrapped her arms around Brian. "What a shame." I couldn't beleive it. I got so angry. How could she say that to her? I stood up, ready to punch her, but AJ saw me and grabbed my arm. "Um..can I talk to you?" Before I could argue he had pulled me in the house. I slid the door closed and turned to him yelling. "Do you believe her? She is shoving it in Elena's face. Why did you invite her?' He shook his head. "I didn't. Brian just brought her." I groaned. "Well now I know why you all hate her." We stepped back outside. Elena was now over by the grill with Kevin and Howie talking as Kevin flipped the burgers. Brian stood up as we walked out. "I gotta use the bathroom, I'll be back." Me and AJ sat down. Beth started to talk to us. "So you two are getting married, huh? You don't really look right for eachother, but that's just my opnion." I looked at AJ. He shook his head and wispherd, "Just let it go." Beth looked over by the grill and then looked at Danielle. "He is sexy. I have had my eye on him since me and Brian first starting dating." Danielle cringed at her. "What? Who Howie?" She shook her head. "No, Kevin. What a body. Yum!" Danielle stood up. "Alright, that is it. Listen you little bitch, I have had enough. First you come here and shove it in Elena's face that you are dating Brian. Okay, we understand, you won. He picked the slut over the sweet one. Then you insult my best friend and her fiance saying that they aren't right for eachother. How about this, you and Brian aren't at all right for eachother. Then you tell me you have your eye on my boyfriend while you are dating Brian." Brian came out in the middle of all the yelling. "What is going on?" Beth looked at him all inisint. "I don't know. She just started yelling at me for no reason." AJ shook his head. "No man, don't listen to her. Look Bri she is evil. What the hell do you see in her?" She stood up angry. "Uh, I don't beleive this. Listen Brian, your friends are horriable. It is either them or me." Brian sighed. "Ya know AJ, I don't know what I ever saw in her either. She is evil." Beth threw her hair behind her shoulder and left.

**ELENA'S PERSPECTIVE**

I stood there shocked by the whole event. Brian walked over to me. "Can we talk?" I sighed. "Alright." We walked into the house. He slid the door closed behind me. I walked over to the sofa and sat down. He sat down next to me and looked into my eyes. "Elena, I was stupied to ever think of going back out with her. I just thought I still loved her, but I don't. That woman hurt me in so many ways." I stopped him. "Yeah Brian and you hurt me. God, I thought you loved me." He quickly spoke up. "I did, I still do. I just think I went out with her to test my self." I groaned. "That is the lamest excuse I ever heard." He shook his head. "No, just hear me out. I think God brought her into my life to test me, and show me that I don't need anybody else in this world but you. Everyday that I was with her, I thought about you. Whenever iI was alone, I thought about you. The point is, all week I thought about you and how much pain I caused you. I remember how I felt when I caught her cheating with some disk jockey, when she told me that she was moving to L.A. with him, I felt like someone ripped my heart out and threw it in my face. Now I have you. I am totally over her. Look, I haven't asked for a lot in my life, but one thing I know I want is you! I am sorry for ever hurting you. The last thing I would ever want to do is hurt you. I love you and I know you love me too, but I understand if you never want to see me again."

I just sat there, taking in every word he spoke. I didn't know what to do or say. I wanted to be with him too, but I hated what he did to me. I sighed. "I don't know, Brian. I am so confused right now. What if you do this again? I don't think I could take it." He moved closer to me. "That is what relationships are all about, taking risks. The only thing I can promise you is that I love you." I siged again. "Can I ask you one thing? Is there any other loves that might slip back into your life." He smiled and shook his head. "Yeah, but she got married last year.." I smiled for the first time that day. I leaned closer and kissed him on the lips. "Let's just take things slowly." He smiled.

CHAPTER 16
