  • ****CHAPTER 18****
  • **GINA'S PERSPECTIVE**
  • I sat on Nick's living room floor next to AJ. Christina walked in and handed me a cup of coffee and sat down next to Nick on the couch. Nick giggled. "I just can't beleive that you are 22 and never been to Disney world." She sighed. "Well, I haven't, drop the subject." She looked around a bit. "I still say you should have like a huge party here. Your house is big enough. You could make it open invetation, like a hundred people would show up." AJ chuckled. "Yeah, and most of them would be little 10 year olds holding signs that say, 'Marry me Nick'." He looked at me to see if I laughed, but I wasn't paying attention. I was thinking about what Christina said. A huge party. Then I got an idea. I got up and sat close to Nick. I wrapped my arms around him. "Nick, the greatest man alive, my best friend, I have a huge favor to ask you. Now you can say no, it is just an idea. Do you think that we could have our wedding here?" He gave me a look. "Here? Why?" I looked over at AJ. "What do you think?" He sighed. "But why?" I walked over to the sliding glass door that led to the deck. "Look out there. It is beutiful. We could have the ceremony out on the beach, then have the reception right here on the deck and the patio underneath. It would be great." AJ sighed again. "I don't know G, I thought we gonna get married when the winter comes back around, we will have to wait til it gets nice again. That is like more than a year." I walked over and sat back down next to him. "Or we could get married this spring." He wrapped his arms around me. "That is a little early. I thought we were gonna wait at least a year." I sighed. "What's the difference if we get married today or ten years from now. The point is we will still be together." He smiled. "Ya sure? We will have to work pretty hard to get it done by then." I smiled. "Then we'll work hard." We both looked at Nick remembering he never gave us and answer. "So?" He smiled. "Why not?" I got up and hugged him, "Ohhhh, thank you."
  • **ELENA'S PERSPECTIVE**
  • The house was getting more quiet everyday. Gina was now living with AJ, Christina was always over Nick's, Danille was always at the studio setting things up, and Laura was out with Howie to keep her mind off Justin for a while. I invited Brian over so I wouldn't die of boredem. He came in the living room from the bathroom. I was sittin on the couch doodling in my note pad. I had written silly teenage things like 'Elena loves Brian' with little hearts. He sat down next to me. "Whatcha' written?" I smiled and quickly closed the book. "Nothing." He smiled. "Come on, let me see." I put the book over my head as he tried to grab it. "No." He jump on top of me and we both rolled on the floor. He pinned me down and tickled me. When I dropped the book he quikly picked it up. He opened it up and read what I wrote. "Ahh, and I love you too." He picked up the pen and wrote something down. When he was done he showed it to me. It said in big red letters, 'Brian -n- Elena 4-ever and ever'. I kissed him. He smiled. "You want me to cook you something?" I nodded my head. "Sure." We got up and made our way to the kitchen. He opened the fridge to see what was inside. I snuck up behind him and placed my hands under his shirt and rubbed his bare chest with my fingers as we looked for some food. I sighed. "Not much. What do you think?" He spun around to face me. "I have been thinking a lot latley." I giggled. "About what, food?" He smiled. "No, us. Don't think I'm crazy but I think we should get married." I pulled away. "What? Brian, I think the word 'marriage' has gone to your head because AJ and Kevin are getting married." He sighed. "No, it's not that. I know we said we wanted to take things slow, but it seems like were not getting anywhere. Please. Just think about it?" I sighed. What was I talking about? Why wasn't I jumping up and down telling him yes? Do you know how many nights I sat up think about what we'll name our kids and what we will look like when we are old and gray? I smiled. "Okay." He smiled and wrapped his arms around me again. "So, you'll think about it?" I shook my head. "No Brian, I just did think about it. I want to get married." He smiled and kissed me all over. Then he stopped. "I don't have a ring." I smiled. "That's okay, we can get one together." He, then, picked me up and carried me to the steps. "Where are we going?" He smiled. "To the bedroom, my beutiful lady."
  • **LAURA'S PERSPECTIVE**
  • I walked in the door and hung up my jacket. The house was quiet as usual. I started to go up the steps but I heard giggling and then I heard Elena say, "Brian stop, that tickels." I backed up. "Okay, not going up there." I sat on the couch and turned on the tv so I could drown out the noise that was going on upstairs. I picked up the picture that was laying on the coffee table. It was a picture of all the girls. I smiled. It had been a while since we all hung out, just the five of us. Now we all are occupied by men. I sighed and placed the picture back down, thinking of Justin. Why was he acting like this? I told him that kiss meant nothing. I looked at the phone. Should I call him? I stopped myself. No, he is the one that wants time. Just then I heard someone walk down the steps. I looked up and saw Brian coming down the steps with nothing on, but his boxers. He turned red. "Oh..um..I didn't know anyone was down here." I giggled. "Oh, it's okay. I take it you and Elena aren't taking things slow anymore?" He smiled as he poured himself a glass of water. "I'll let Elena give you details in the morning." He started to walk back upstairs but stopped. "You okay, Laura?" I sighed. "Just thinking. I'll be fine. Go have fun." He smiled and ran up the steps like a little kid. Just then the phone rang. I looked at the clock. "Who would be calling at one in the morning?" I leaned over and picked up the phone. "Hello?" There was a pause then I heard a familiar voice. "Hi Laura." My heart skipped a beat. "Hi Justin." He sighed. "I'm sorry I haven't called. I have just been thinking, a lot." I sighed. "Me, too. Look Justin, I just wanted to say that I am sorry for kissing Nick. It was a huge mistake. But I am not sorry for being friends with him or any of the other guys." He sighed again. "Are you sure it meant nothing?" I wanted to choke him. Everyday of my life I have have told him the same thing over and over, yet he still doesn't believe me. "Yes Justin, we are just friends, that is all." There was another pause. "Laura, sorry I have to break it to you but, guys don't become friends with girls to just be friends. They are waiting because they want to be next in line when the girl breaks up with her boyfriend. Sorry Laura, but he doesn't want friendship, he wants romance." I almost dropped the phone. "How could you say that? You don't know him at all? He has a girlfriend Justin!" He sighed once again. "Did he tell Christina about your little tounge hockey game? No. He is waiting til we are broken up then he will use that to get out of his relationship with Christina. It is that simple." I wanted to scream. "You know what Justin, we are through. I don't ever want to talk to you again." I slammed the phone down and then started to cry.
  • The next morning I woke and found my self still on the couch. I looked at the clock. It was 8:12. I smelled coffee. I sat up and saw Brian in the kitchen. He smiled when he saw I was awake. "Hey you want some coffee?" I rubbed my eyes. "No thanks." He shrugged his shoulders. "Suit yourself." I got up and started to make a waffle. I sat down at the table as I waited for it to toast. "Where is Elena?" He chuckled. "Still in bed. I don't know why she is so tired?" He said sarcastically. I giggled. He looked over at me then sat down across the table. "You look terrable. Bad night?" I sighed. "I talked to Justin. Hey, let me ask you something. Do guys become friends with girls only to become like romantic and stuff with them or just to be friends?" He gave me a look. "Why?" I sighed. "Long story, just yes or no?" He sipped his coffee. "Well it depends. If a guy likes a girl then he usually will try to become friends with her first, but if it is just friendship then it is just friendship. Look at Nick and Gina, best friends and are both of the oppisite sex. It does happen. I am friends with you but I don't want a relationship, I enjoy our friendship." I smiled. "You know, you are 100 percent right." I got up and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you Brian." He smiled. "No prob Bob." I started to walk up the steps and I saw Elena coming down. I smiled as she started to pass me. She grabbed my hand and pulled me to sit down. We both sat down on the steps. I smiled. "What?" She brushed her hair out of her eyes. "Guess what? Last night Me and Brian decided to get married. I mean he didn't give me a ring yet, but we are gonna go out and get one." I hugged her. "Oh my God. Congrats. I am gonna be the maid of honor right?" She giggled. "Of course." I got up. "Well I'll see ya. Give me details later, I'm going back to bed." I ran up the steps. It's not fair, everyone is getting married. Don't get me wrong, I am happy, but I wish me and Justin could married. Wait what am I saying. He is a jerk. I sighed. Plus, were still stupied teenagers. I just wish I could be with him.
