CHAPTER 4
'Loving you means so much more, more than
anything I ever felt before. You drive me
crazy, I just can't see. I'm so excited. I'm
in to deep.' I rolled over in my bed and hit
the button on my alarm clock to turn it off.
I looked at the time. It was 9:30. I layed
there for a few moments but got up when the
phone rang. I reached over and picked it up.
"Hello?" I asked rubbing my eyes. "Hey Gina."
I smiled. "Hey Nick, What's up? You sound a
little upset." "Look, we got a huge problem.
I just got off the phone with Fatima and she
told me we are short a dancer. The other girl
dancer left because her mother got sick with
cancer so she went home to be with her." It
went silent. "And?" He continued. "And I was
kinda hoping you had another friend that
could dance as good as you four." I laughed.
"Yeah actually I do. I could call her and try
to convince her to come down but she might
say no so don't get your hopes up." "Alright.
Call her now." "Okay, I call you back in
about 5 minutes." I disconnected the phone.
Then I reconnected and quickly dialed
Danielle's phone number. After 3 rings she
picked it up. "Hello?" "Danielle hey. I got a
proposition for ya." "Oh ya and what's that."
I explained the whole ordeal to her and after
kindly asking she finally gave in. "Thank you
so much. I'll pick ya up at the airport
tomarrow." I hung the phone and called Nick
back. "She'll do it." He sighed with releif.
"Oh thank God."
We talked for a few more minutes then I
told him I had to get ready for my trip to
the mall with AJ. I ran down stairs to get a
towl out of the dryer for my shower. I told
the girls about Danielle and they we very
excited that she was coming along with us. I
ran back up stairs and got a quick shower.
When I got out I picked out my outfit. Very
simple. A black tank-top, kakhi shorts and my
black platform sandals. I decided to keep my
hair down, being it never looks good in a
ponytail. I looked over at my clock. It was
10:50. I walked down stairs and saw Laura
sitting on the couch flipping through the
channels. "Where is everyone?" She looked up.
"Oh, Brian and Nick invited them to play some
baseket ball." The door bell rang and I
walked over to open the door.
AJ stood there looking mighty fine. He
stepped in. "Can I use your bathroom?" "Sure,
right down that hallway, first door on the
left." He smiled. "Thanks." I walked over to
the couch and sat down next to Laura. "What
are you watching?" "The Real World. It's
pretty cool." I giggled. I sat back and
watched a little. AJ walked into the living
room. "Ready?" I stood up. "Yup." I looked
back at Laura. "Ya gonna be alright being
here all by yourself all day?" She smiled.
"Yeah, `N Sync is gonna be on TRL today." I
smiled at AJ remembering what he told me the
night before. I walked over to her and gave
her a hug. "Well I'll see ya later girl."
"Bye you two, have fun." AJ grabbed my hand
and we walked out the door.
***The Basketball Court***
**Elena's Perspective**
When we got to the basketball court we
decided we would play girls against guys. I
checked the ball to Brian and he checked it
back. I swopped around him and shot it in. I
pointed at him. "Ha!" He smiled. "Pretty good
for a girl." I put my hands on my hips. "And
what does that have to do with anything?" He
shook his head and smiled. "Nothing." Nick
yelled from across the court. "Hey Elena you
better watch it, we don't call him B-Rok for
nothing." Christina stopped us. "Alright
children lets stop with the fighting and
continue this gane so we can kick your
butts." Nick walked over to her. "Oohh, is
that a challenge?" She smiled. "Maybe." We
continued the game. They were kicking our
butts but we weren't really keeping score.
"Yo Bri, think fast." Nick through the ball
to Brian, but was way off. Brian dove for it
and ran right into me. We both fell on the
ground with him on top. He looked me in the
eyes. He grabbed my face and kissed me. "Yo,
love birds we playing or are we making out?"
Brian got up and held out his hand to help me
up. "Sorry about that Elena." I smiled. "It
is okay." I walked over to Christina and she
smiled. "What a way to get kissed." I
laughed. We asked the guys if they wanted to
come back to our house to hang out. They
agreed and started to walk home to our house
that was 4 blocks away.
***AJ's Car***
**Gina's Perspective**
I looked over at AJ to check out what he
was wearing. He had cargo pants on with a
green tank top. Of course he had sun glasses
on. He also had a black sweater on that was
un-zipped. "What's with the sweater?" "Oh, I
gotta wear it to cover my arms when I am out
in public. My tattoos give me the way the
most and if ya can't see them then I wouldn't
be as noticable." I smiled at the thought of
his tattoos. "How many do you have now?" He
laughed. "Eleven. My newest on is on my back.
I just got it like two weeks ago. It's the
Millennium Dragon, ha ha." I giggled. He is
so cute. "Nick told me about your 69 one." I
gave him a flirty look. He smiled. We stopped
at a red light. "Yeah, look." He lifted up
his shirt to reveal his stomach. I almost
fainted. What a body! "Very cute."
We pulled up to McDonald's. "You don't
mind if we go here do you?" I shook my head.
"Not at all, I love McDonalds." We walked in
and ordered. AJ told me to put my money away
because he wanted to pay, but I insisted and
finally he gave in and I payed for my meal.
We got an empty table and ate our food. We
talked for a little but then we decided to
leave so we could get to the mall before it
gets crowded. When we got there I watched AJ
spend his money. He got mostly hats and some
cargo pants. "It's your turn. Where do you
want
to go?" I shook my head. "Oh no, I really
don't want to buy anything." He smiled. "Come
on. Were go in here." He pulled me into a
ladies clothes shop. I decided to get a few
tank tops since I only had two at home. AJ
started to pull out his money but I slapped
his hand. "No AJ I'll pay for it." "Are you
sure?" I smiled. "Yes I am fine."
We got up to the register and the girl
behind the register smiled. "Oh my God your
AJ from the Backstreet Boys. Yor the last
person I ever thought would come in here." He
smiled. "Yeah, well I am here with her." She
looked at me. I smiled. "Oh I am so sorry
Miss, I can ring this up for you." She took
the clothes from me. "Could you sign this for
me?" AJ took the paper and pen from the girl.
"What's your name?" "Amy." She handed me the
bag of clothes and AJ gave her back the paper
and pen. We said our good-byes and left. We
decided to leave since it was starting to get
crowded. We walked across the parking lot.
"So, you wanna go back to my place and hang
out." he shook his head. "Sure. Rok and Nick
are probably there too. Plus I want get to
know the other girls and love them like you
do." I smiled. "That is so sweet." We got to
the car and got in. "Before we go anywhere I
wanna know were we stand?" He looked up at me
and stopped from starting the car. "What do
you mean?" "Like are we dating or are we
frinds that occasionally kiss and hug?" He
grabbed me and kissed me passionatly.
"Dating." I smiled and leaned back in my
seat.
