  • ****CHAPTER 8****
  • ***LAURA'S PERSPECTIVE***
  • I walked down the steps in my baby blue spaghetti strapped dress. The girls sat on the couch, waiting for me. As I stepped in the living room they all "Oooed" and "Aaahed". I went over and sat next to Elena on the couch. She looked me up and down. "You look gorgeous." I smiled. "Thanks Elena." Gina, who was sitting on the floor, turned to face me. She smiled. "Cute dress. You shaved your legs, right?" I laughed. "Yes." I looked up at the clock on the wall. "Well, he should be here any minute." Just then the dorr bell rang. I quickly stood up and walked over to the door. I opended it up and there stood Justin looking adorably hot! I smiled. "Hey you." He smiled back and handed me a single white rose. "This is for you." My smile grew wider. "Oh, that is so sweet. Thank You." I gave him a hug. I said good-bye to the girls and then we got in his car. I looked over at him as he pulled away. "So, what do you have planned for us this evening?" He smiled. "I'm thinking a liitle dining and a little dancing. I know this great place we can go."
  • A few moments later we pulled up infront of, what looked like a vey expensive and elegant, restaraunt. He helped me out of the car and we walked in. "Are you sure there is dancing here." He smiled. "Yeah, there is a room in the back." We sat down at our table and started to look over the menu. We ordered our food and soon it came. We talked the entire time. He told me some of the funny things that happened to him on stage. I talked about me and the girls. Eventually he asked me to dance. We walked to the back room and swing music was playing. He smiled. "Ready?" I laughed. I can't swing dance." He laughed with me. "Either can I. Just go with it." He took my hands and we danced around the room. We did every move we could think of. We had no idea wat we were doing, but we were having a blast. Time flew by and we decided it was time go.
  • He pulled up infront of the house and we got out of the car. He walked me to the door and I turned to face him. He staired into my eyes. "I usually don't like to kiss a girl on the first date, but I really want to kiss you." My smile grew. "If your asking if you can, then my answer is yes." He leaned in and kissed me. After a few moments we pulled apart. He frowned. "This sucks. You are gonna be on the road til like mid-december. I really want to get to know you better." I looked down at the ground. "Yeah, I know. But you can always call me at the hotels and on my cell phone." He smiled again. "I could do that." I told him I was getting sleepy and we said our good-byes. I stepped inside and closed the door. I layed my head against it and closed my eyes. I can't believe how great this day was.
  • ***Danielle's Perspective***
  • I woke up around 10:00 and got a shower. When I was all finished and dressed I went down to get some breakfast and to prepare for a day of rest. I sat and ate my pancakes while Gina and Laura came walking down the steps giggling. They came into the kitchen and Laura started to make some coffee. I smiled at her. "By the look on your fave I guess I can figure you had a good time last night." She smiled and sat down next to me to tell me the highlights of her night. I smiled again when she was finished. "Well I am glad you had a good time." Elena walked down the steps as the door bell rang. "I'll get it. It is probably Brian." She opened the door and I heard he say "Oh hey Kev." I got up of the stool and walked over. He stepped in and I smiled. "Hey you. What brings you here?" He smiled. "Hey. Well I gotta talk to you." I grabbed his hand. "Come on we can go and sit by the pool." We walked out back towards the pool. I sat down and stuck my feet in. It was pretty warm because the sun was beating on it all morning. Kevin sat next to me and put his feet in as well. He looked over at me. "I broke up with Jess last night." I gasped. "Really? How did she take it?" He sighed. "Well, besides cursing me off and throughing things at me, she took it pretty well." I giggled, then noticed he wasn't laughing so I stopped. He continued. "She understands how I feel and all. Were gonna just be friends." I sighed. "So now what? I mean with us?" He smiled. "I don't know. I know I have feelings for you, but what about you?" I looked down. "I don't know. I mean, even though we only met like two weeks ago, everyday of those two weeks we have been together, and since we will be together everyday for the next three and a half months..." I trailed off. He smiled again. "So you have feelings for me?" I looked up. "Of course." I moved my feet around in the water. He sighed. "Ya know, eversince that day in the elevator, I haven't been able to sleep." I looked up in his eyes and smiled. "Me too. Just thinking about you makes me want to kiss you again." He used that as his cue to move in for a kiss. After it was over he pushed me in the pool. I came to the surface and splashed him. He jumped in next to me. When he came up he pulled me close to him and kissed me long and soft.
  • We got out of the pool and went towards the house. I slid open the door, but Elena stopped us from coming in. "What do you think you are doing? Your all wet, you can't come in." I groaned. Gina walked down the steps with two towels in her hand. "Here ya go. Dry off, then come in." I took the towels from her and closed the door. When we were dryed off we went back inside.
  • ***Gina's Perspective***
  • The next few days went very slow. We practice for the shows until it was perfect. We had fun, but we were so tired. After all the practice we had a day off to get situated and ready to hit the road. We all packed our suitcases the night before. The next morning we went to the managment building because we all had a meeting. Everyone had to be there: the dancers, the band, the set up crews, the guys, everyone. When it was over we headed for our buses. The guys told us we all had our own buses, but they never stay on just one. They hang out and sleep in a different bus every day. WE told them we would probably do the same. When we were all situated and ready, the buses were off and we were going to our first destination.
