~Chapter 10~

Through out the next two weeks Danielle spent almost everyday with Gina and AJ helping them plan their wedding. At first she felt like she was interfering but they both assured her they were grateful for the extra help. Gina picked out a beautiful wedding dress and was going to to get it fitted. Danielle was helping her with brides maid dresses and had a few picked out. AJ sent out the invitations. Everything was running smoothly.

Brian sat on his couch flipping threw the channels not finding anything that interested him. Besides the hour when Nick came over to hang out for a bit, his day pretty much consisted of sitting on his butt. It was a little over two weeks since he broke off the marriage. The media was going nuts over the story and Brian thought it would never die down. He was going nuts because he wanted to see Danielle more than anything. He quickly picked up the phone and dialed AJ's number. "AJ? Do you have the key to Danielle's apartment?" "Yeah, but she isn't home. She just left to go to the movies with Gina." Brian smiled. "Good, then that gives me two hours." "Two hours to do what?" AJ asked. "I'll tell you when I meet you there. Bring the key."

AJ stepped off the elevator and saw Brian waiting outside Danielle's apartment which is the first door on the 5th floor. "Sorry I took so long. JD kept getting away from me everytime I went to pick him up to put him in his crib." "That poor dog. I can't believe you keep him in a baby crib." AJ shrugged his shoulders as he unlocked the door. "So, what are we doing here?" AJ asked as he stepped in and turned on the light.

Brian showed AJ the picnic basket in his hand. He placed it on the coffee table and pulled out the things inside it. There was a blanket, candles, wine and wine glasses, dishes and all the things needed to make Fettuccini Alfredo. AJ smiled at Brian's thoughtfulness. "Bri, she is gonna love this." Brian nodded. "I know. You gotta help me cook and set everything up, okay?" Brian asked. AJ nodded. They cooked and set up the candles all around the living room. They moved the couch back and the coffee table to the side so they could set up the blanket.

Soon, the food was ready and staying warm in the pot. Brian set the plates down on the blanket. He then pulled the single rose from the basket and layed it in the middle of the blanket. AJ poured the wine in the glasses and the set it next to the rose. He then stood and smiled. "Okay, looks like everything is ready. She should be here any minute so I better get out of here." Brian grabbed AJ into a hug. "Thanks for the help AJ. I really appriciate it." "No problem." AJ said as he picked up his keys. "See ya tomorrow for the Teen People interview." Brian nodded. "Alright, see ya." AJ opened the door and left. Brian turned the lights off and took his place on the blanket.

Brian heard the jingle of keys at the door. His heart started pumping harder and harder. He hoped Danielle would like her suprise. Danielle opened the door and stopped dead in her tracks. She looked around the room and then ending her gaze on Brian's handsome face. The candle light seemed to dance on his face and Danielle could see him smiling. "Is this all for me?" She asked, astounded that he did this for her. Brian nodded and stood. He walked over to her and grabbed her hand. He led her to the blanket and told her to sit. He grabbed the pot and started putting the Fettuccini on her plate. Danielle smiled. "Brian, my favorite." He nodded as he put some on his plate. "I know." For the next two hours they talked, laughed, flirted, and giggled.

  • "I've missed you these past couple of weeks." Danielle stated. "Me too." He agreed. "It made me realize how much I love you and can't live without you." Brian said. Danielle smiled widely. "Really?" Brian leaned over an kissed her. "Of course." They continued to kiss. Their kisses got deeper and more intense. Brian pulled away and looked in Danielle's eyes. He was searching for an answer to what he was thinking. Danielle stood and grabbed his hands pulling him up. That was enough answer for him. Brian followed her into the bedroom with his arms wrapped tightly around her waist.

When they entered the room Danielle spun around and pressed her lips onto Brian's. Brian kept his arms in place around her waist as he closed the door with his foot. Danielle pulled away from Brian and got on the bed. Brian joined her and started to kiss her again. He layed her down and moved his kisses down to her neck and back up to her lips. They stopped only for a few seconds so Danielle could pull up his shirt. She threw it on the floor. Brian then removed her top and it landed next to his.

Before going to kiss her again, Brian stopped and gazed into her eyes. "You know this is going to change everything." He said. Danielle nodded. "Yeah, but change can be good." Brian smiled and kissed her on the head. "I love you." "I love too." Danielle said. She then pulled his body closer and started to kiss him again.
