It seemed like the day was a waste. Danielle layed on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. When she woke up Chris wasn't around. She hoped maybe he had left early but his things were still in the guest room. She was off from work and since Brian wasn't around there wasn't much to do. Calling AJ and Gina was out of the question. The wedding was a little over two weeks and they were frantically running around getting the last minute things together. It was friday night and she figured they wanted to be alone. Danielle reached for the phone. She decided to try calling Brian's cell phone again. She called almost every hour on the hour but kept getting his voice mail. She hung up the phone annoyed. "Why isn't he answering?" She asked herself.
Danielle sighed as she sat up. She gave up and decided to take a long hot shower. She headed into the bathroom and Chris's bag sat in the middle of the floor. Annoyed, she picked it up and brought it to his room. She drooped it on the bed. It was unzipped and before she turned to leave soething inside caught her eye. She pulled the bag open a little more and peaked inside. Her stomach turned upside down when she pulled the little bag out. She stared at it hoping it wasn't what she thought it was, but she knew it was. Cocaine. The word made her want to throw up.
Just then she heard the door fly open and soon Chris appeared in the bedroom doorway with a huge smile on his face. He looked different. Was he high? She couldn't tell. "So," he said, "I met this guy and he got me some good stuff and I told him I have some stuff for him. So, don't mind me. I'm gonna get it and be on my way. I'll be back later tonight" He started to walk towards her then stopped. "Hey! You found it." He then started to laugh hysterically.
He then noticed Danielle wasn't laughing and he tryed to contain himself. She was staring at him coldly. "Whoa, if looks could kill." Chris said as he went to grab the bag out of her hand. Danielle pulled away. "You brought Cocaine into my home?" "Yeah. Hey, lay out two lines. We can do it together. You need to lossen up a bit. Ever since that faggot boyfriend of yours left you have been all tense." Danielle continued to stare at him. "You lied to me. You told me you changed. I can't beilieve I fell for it." Chris shrugged his shoulders. "Hey. Your fault. And for the record, I told you I don't drink anymore. Which I don't. I don't need that when I have this." He stopped for a moment, trying to collect his thoughts. "Ya know what's funny. I didn't do any of this stuff till you left me. I was so upset that I found happiness in this. Well, I just have to say thanks. I love ya for it." Chris smiled and went to grab the bag again. Danielle threw it in his duffle bag and then threw the duffle bag at him. "Get out."
Chris's face then became serious. "What? My friend isn't coming for two days. I won't have anywhere to stay." "I don't care. Get out!" Chris's face became red. "You never were good for anything. You ruined my life, you slut." Danielle's eyes started to fill with tears. Before she knew it her hand formed a fist and she punched him square across the jaw. He quickly grabbed his face with his hand. "Bitch." He said coldly. "Get the fuck out of my house!" She screamed. Chris grabbed his bag and quickly walked to the living room. Danielle heard the door open. "I don't need you anyway. Go have fun with your pansy boyfriend." The door then slammed shut.
Danielle's legs became weak and she fell to the ground and started to cry. Chris was nothing to her but his words tore at her heart. Everything that just happened felt like a dream. It didn't seem real. She didn't know what to do. She got up and reached for the phone. "AJ? Sorry to bother you but can I come over?"
