It was Saturday the 5th of September, the day of wedding. Gina was in the backroom with the Bridesmaids. Danielle came in the room with a cup of ice and handed it to Gina. They both sat down on the couch. Gina took a piece of ice and put it in her mouth. "My God it's hot back her." She said as she fluffed her dress and made herself comfortable.
Danielle studied Gina's face. She looked a little pale. "You okay?" "Yeah." Gina said with a smile. "No doubts right?" Danielle asked. "Of course not. I'm just nervous." "You two are made for eachother. The perfect couple. Don't be nervous, everything will be great." Gina nodded. "Oh. I know. I'm not nervous about that, I'm scared that I'll trip down the isle." Danielle laughed. "Oh, okay."
Gina's mother peaked her head in the door and smiled. "Okay, show time." She said. Danielle quickly wrapped her arms around Gina. "You look beautiful. Come on, it's time." She said a little choked up. Gina smiled and stood with her. "Don't cry on me."
The ceremony started and the Brides Maids started down the isle. Brian stood behind Howie in the front of the church. He watched each Brides Maid come up. His eyes then landed on Danielle. She smiled sweetly at him. Brian smiled remembering the first time she smiled at him. He was 18 and the Backstreet Boys were just formed. They were all over AJ's for the day and he had mentioned his Aunt and cousin were coming over for dinner. The moment she stepped in the door he thought she was gorgous. Later on, he was alone with her in the living room and he was acting goofy and telling her jokes. Her smile sparkled and all he wanted to do was make her laugh for the rest of his life.
Brian's thoughts were interupted by everyone standing. He then realized that Gina was now walking up the isle. He turned his gaze to AJ who stood infront of Howie. He never saw AJ look so happy in all the years he knew him.
The ceremony went quickly and soon they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Alexander James McLean. The Bridal Party piled into their limos. Danielle sat next to Brian holding his hand. "Can you believe it? They're married. This is so wonderful. The wedding was so beautiful." Brian nodded without saying anything. "You okay. You look more nervous then AJ did this morning." Brian just smiled and said. "Yeah, I'm fine." Danielle continued to study his face.
They soon arrived at the reception. The Backstreet band was hired for the band but there was also hired so when the band took breaks there would still be music playing. Everyone sat down to eat and then they played the Brides and Grooms song. AJ and Gina had decided on Bryan Adams "Eveything I do, I do it for you."
A little later Danielle, Gina and Abby were dancing and laughing on the dance floor. The band announced that it was time for the bride to throw the bouquet. Abby grabbed Danielle's hand and pulled her to the middle of the floor. Danielle laughed. Gina's smiled at Brian and then turned, her back faced the women behind her. She looked over her shoulder to see where she was throwing. She flew it over her head and it landed right in Danielle's arms. Danielle looked around and noticed all the women moved to the sides of the floor. She smiled. "Um...I think the object of the game is to try to catch the flowers." Everyone stood staring at her. "What? Are they dead or som..." She looked down at the flowers and almost fainted. There, tied to one of the flowers, was a diamond ring.
Danielle rose her head to see Brian walking towards her with a microphone in his hand. Tears started to fill up in her eyes. He took the flowers from her and pulled the ring out. He got down on one knee and looked up at her. Danielle started to shake, not believing what was going on. "Danielle, will you marry me?" Danielle was speechless. Nothing seemed to come out of her mouth. She nodded her head and finally, "yes," came from her mouth. Everyone started to clap and cheer and Brian stood and placed the ring on her finger.
Just then music started to play and Brian pulled her in for a kiss. He wrapped his arms around her and they started to dance. Brian then brought the microphone to his mouth and started to sing "How did I fall in Love with you". Daniele couldn't help but cry. When he was finished all she could say was, "I love you."
The reception was almost over and the last song was playing. It was "When I saw you" by Mariah Carey. AJ and Gina of course made their way to the dance floor and so did Brian and Danielle. "Soft heavenly eyes, gazed into me, transcending space and time." Danielle watched Gina and AJ dance and she smiled, thinking that would soon be her and Brian. She looked at Brian and smiled. He kissed her lightly. "When I saw you, When I saw you I could not breath I fell so deep. When I saw you, When I saw you I'd never be, I'd never be the same."
Brian wrapped his arms tighter around Danielle never wanting to let go. "So," Danielle said with a smile, "what now?" Brian smiled slightly and said, "We live happily ever after."
