~Chapter 2~

Danielle sat down in a chair and waited patiently for Gina to arrive. She looked down at her watch. 10:30. Danielle looked up and watched a middle-aged couple walk by. They held hands as they both talked and giggled. The man kissed the woman on her head and the women placed her head on the mans shoulder. Danielle smiled and looked back down at her watch. Now she was getting worried. "I hope she didn't get in an accident." Danielle thought. She shook her head. "Don't think like that. She probably just got a little lost."

A few minutes later Gina arrived with an exasperated look on her face. She sat down in the empty chair next to Danielle and gave her a hug. "Danielle, I am so sorry. AJ was supposed reset the alarm when he woke up and he forgot. Then of course there was so much traffic." Danielle smiled. "It's completly okay. I don't mind." Gina smiled and stood. She picked up two of the four bags Danielle had. "Okay girl. Lets get going." Danielle stood and followed Gina out of the airport and to her car.

Gina placed the bags on the ground and opened the trunk to her silver Beetle. Danielle helped her put the bags in and then they both got in the car. Gina started the car as Danielle gazed around. "This is a awesome car." Gina smiled as she pulled out of her space. "All thanks to Mr. Wonderful. AJ bought it for me for my 22nd birthday." Danielle opened her mouth. "Wow. Alexander McLean actually did something nice for another person." Danielle said mockingly. Gina smiled and looked at Danielle when she stopped at a red light.

"So, spill girl. Tell me all the details of what's been going on." Danielle shrugged her shoulders and pointed forward to let Gina know the light turned green. Gina turned her gaze back onto the road. "Nothing exciting has really happened." Danielle stated. "I got into Penn State, meet a few friends, graduate, started a Photo Studio, then I decided to move back home after a year of taking highschool graduation pictures." "Well, what made you want to leave?" Gina asked. "It just wasn't fun anymore. I wanted to take pictures for me. Ya know, a like sunset or a field full of flowers. Something that is caught in the moment and in that moment it just seems so beautiful." Gina nodded. "And plus," Danielle added, "I missed you guys and the family." "We missed you too." Gina said with a smile.

Gina and Danielle carried the bags in the house and placed them in the living room. They both sat down on the couch. "So, I heard bout Brian. I'm so happy for him." Danielle said smiling enthusiastically. "Oh I know." Gina said in agreement. "Have you meet Leighanne?" Gina asked. Danielle shook her head. "Nope." Gina nodded. "That right. The summer where we meet they weren't dating yet and this past Christmas when you came home she went to her parents house for the week." They were both silent for a moment then Gina added, "She's nice." A smile slowly appeared on Danielle's face. "You don't like her do you?" Gina cringed her face a little. "I don't know. She is nice and all but she tries so hard to be my friend. Kind of like we have to be friends because our boyfriends are. Besides, I don't think she's Brian's type." Danielle shrugged her shoulders. "There's nothing we can do now. They're getting married in two months." Gina let out a sigh and stood. "Let's bring these up to your room."

The two girls sat on the bed in Danielle's room. "Well this is just great. My room is right next to yours and AJ's. I'll get lots of sleep with you too making noise all night." Danielle said sarcastically. Gina pushed Danielle. "Oh be queit." They both giggled like they were 15. "But seriously," Danielle continued after their moment of laughter, "are there any wedding bells ringing for you two?" Gina sighed. "I dunno. Things are so crazy right now. I'm going into the studio soon to record my first album and hopefully it will do good. Plus, he has his whole thing with BSB. I don't know how we find time for eachother. I'm so glad he has the next three months off though. But even if he asked me I'd prbably say I wasn't ready." Danielle studied Gina's face to see if thats what she really wanted.

Danielle's thoughts were interupted by the front door opening and the sound of familiar voices rining through out the house.
