~Chapter 4~

Danielle woke up to the smell of fresh coffee brewing. She sat up and rubbed her eyes sleepily as she yawned. She made a quick stop to the bathroom then she made her way down to the kitchen. She heard Gina giggling then say, "No, AJ don't touch." Danielle turned the corner into the kitchen and saw Gina standing at the stove with AJ's arms wrapped around her. AJ kept poking at the pancakes as she slapped him with the spatula. Danielle smiled and sat down at the table. "So, what's for breakfast?" She asked. Gina and AJ both turned and smiled. "I didn't even hear you come in." AJ said. "Maybe that's because you were so involed with your woman there." Danielle said smiling. Gina blushed. "Sorry about that." Danielle shook her head. "Completly okay."

AJ poured 3 cups of coffee and joined Danielle at the table. He gave her a cup and smiled. "I'm really glad your here." Danielle smiled. "Me too. But I really hope I'm not imposing. I mean, you too finally have two months together and here I am in the middle of it. I'm gonna start looking for an apartment so I shouldn't be here too long." "It's fine," AJ replied, "Don't go frantically looking for an appartment then end up with some roach infested hellhole. Take your time. You can stay here as long as you want. We don't mind. Besides, you are my cousin and I love you." He leaned over a hugged her tight. "Okay, okay, your squizzing me way to tight." AJ laughed and let go of her. "Sorry." Gina walked over and placed a plate of pancakes on the table. "Sorry that they're alittle misshaped. Some freak kept poking at them." "I wasn't poking, I was helping." AJ stated. Gina laughed and sat down. "Whatever."

When AJ was finished he went up and got a shower which left the girls to do some friendly "girl chatting". "You're so lucky." Danielle said as she sipped her coffee. Gina gave her a confused look. "How so?" Danielle continued. "Look at you. You are doing excatly what you want with your whole singing thing. Plus, you have this perfect, wonderful boyfriend who loves you very much." Danielle stopped. "I hope that didn't sound like I was saying I liked my cousin cause thats not what I meant." Gina smiled. "I understand."

Danielle sighed and became queit. "So what ever happened to your boyfriend? What was his name? Chris? Last time I saw you, you talked about him non-stop." Danielle's expression changed strangly. "Just didn't work out." She stated. Gina could tell it was a sensitive subject and quickly dropped it. "AJ, told me Brian's stopping by for a little bit later on." Danielle smiled widely. Gina laughed. She knew that would cheer her up.

Brian arrived around 1:00. The girls went out for lunch and arrived home about 1:30. They walked into the living room and found Brian sitting on the couch watching Sports Center. "Hey girls. What have you been up to?" He asked. "We went out for lunch." Danielle said as she sat down next to him. "Where's AJ?" Gina asked. "Up stairs. He's looking for a picture he wanted to show me or something." Gina nodded. "I think I know where it is. I'm gonna go help him." She said smiling at Danielle. She quickly left the room.

Brian patted Danielle on the knee. "I have a huge favor to ask of you. Now, you don't have to say yes just because we are friends." Danielle nodded. "Okay, whats the favor?" "Well, it was actually Leighanne's idea. She thought it would be cool if maybe you could take pictures of us doing fun things for these next two months before the wedding. Like horse back riding and things like that for memories. And also be our photographer for the wedding?" Danielle was silent for a moment thinking over what to say. She turned her head slightly and saw Gina's head peaking in through the dining room. She was nodding her head frantically and mouthing 'Say yes.' Danielle looked back over at Brian and before she could stop her self she blurted out "Yes." Brian smiled and threw his arms around her. "Thank you so much. It means so much to me to have one of my best friends being my photographer for my wedding." Danielle smiled. Brian kissed her on the head and stood. "I'm gonna go find AJ. Thank you again. I love you." With that he turned and walked out of the room.

Danielle's heart sank. 'If only you loved me the way that I love you.' She thought. Gina walked in the lving room smiling. Danielle looked at her. "Tell me why I am choosing to do this." She asked. "Because, it gives you an excuse to spend more time with him." Danielle sighed. "Yeah, time with him and the woman he is going to marry." Gina smiled. "Believe me. The way you two act around eachother, he probably won't even notice she is there."
