A week passed since Brian had asked Danielle to be his photographer. He told her he would call her later in the week for information on the first time they would go out to take pictures. Friday afternoon he called and told her that Sunday he and Leighanne reserved the stables to go horse back riding. He asked her if she could make it. She told him she was free and asked what time she should meet them there.
At around 2:00 Danielle arrived at the the horse stables. She looked around for stable number 7. She found it and quikly made her way over. Danielle saw Brian and Leighanne suiting up their horses. Brian looked up and saw her walking towards them. He smiled and walked over to her. "Hey Ducks, thanks again for doing this!" Danielle smiled. "Hey, I'm a picture junkie. I'll would take pictures of everything if I had the chance." They walked over to the two horses. Leighanne smiled. "Hi Danielle." Danielle waved politely. "So, are we ready?" She asked. Brian and Leighanne both nodded and they all made their ways out to the field.
Danielle took pictures of them riding and also just basically sitting on the horse. They took pictures for about a half hour. After they were finished they brought back the horses to the stable. Leighanne saw someone she knew and started talking to her. Brian and Danielle were getting bored of standing around so he told Leighanne that they were going to walk down to the lake and to meet them there when she was ready to leave.
Brian picked up a stone and skimmed it in the lake. Danielle picked one up and did the same. Brian smiled. "Remember that summer when you came on the road with us. It was like 3 years ago. We stopped at the gas staion in Colorado and while we were waiting for them to fix the bus we walked over to that lake." Danielle smiled and nodded. "Yeah and you kept picking me up and pretending to throw me in the water." Brian laughed. "Yeah. God, that seems like it was just yesterday." "I know." Danielle chimed in. "I had the best time that summer." "Me too." Brian agreed. 'You being there made it ten times better then it usually is." Danielle smiled as she looked down and kicked a rock.
They both picked up another stone and skimmed them in the lake. Just then they saw a flash. They both looked over and saw Leighanne holding the camera. "Sorry, that just looked like a good picture. I hope you don't mind." They both shook their heads. "Get together, I'll take another." Leighanne said. Brian smiled and wrapped his arms tightly around Danielle. Everytime Brian even came remotely close to even touching her she felt as though she might faint. Her heart stared beating fast as she wrapped her arms around him. Leighanne took the picture and handed Danielle her camera. "You two look very cute together." Leighanne said laughing. Danielle smiled uneasily. Brian smiled and grabbed Leighanne's hand. "Okay ladies, let's head back to the cars."
Gina stepped in the house and hung her purse up on the hook next to the door. She walked out into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. She grabbed a diet coke, opened it and started to sip it as she read the notes AJ left for her on the fridge. 'Your mom called just to talk...she said you don't have to call her back. My mom called...she wants us over for dinner some time this week. Jive called about you going into the studio next week. CALL THEM BACK!'
Gina got excited and quickly picked up the phone. She heard a female voice on the other end. Danielle was talking to Lisa. Gina was about to hang up when their conversation caught her attention. "Danielle, Chris keeps stopping by the photo studio asking about you." "You didn't tell him anything, right?" "No," Lisa stated "but I'm gonna have to tell him something soon. He isn't really believeing that you're on vacation anymore. I mean, it's been almost 3 weeks since you left." Danielle sighed. "Then just tell him I moved and I didn't tell you where, okay?" "Okay, I can do that I guess. But do you think he'll beilieve that you didn't tell me?" Lisa asked. "I dunno," Danielle said, "but please don't tell him anything about me being here." "I wouldn't do that." Lisa said. They ended their conversation and Danielle hung up the phone. Gina heard her coming down the steps and she quickly hung up the phone.
Gina walked towards the door. Danielle stood there putting on her sweater. "Can I talk to you for a second?" Gina asked. Danielle whipped around. "Whoa, I didn't even know you came home." "I just got home." Danielle nodded. "Oh, well I can't really talk. I gotta go meet Brian and Leighanne to take more pictures. Later we can, okay?" Gina nodded and Danielle walked out the door. Gina went in the living room. "Should I tell AJ?" She thought. She kept thinking about the fear in Danielle's voice over the phone. Then she remembered the look on Danielle's face when she mentioned him. Gina sighed. "I hope everything is fine and I'm just being a psyco."
