~Chapter 9~

"No." Danielle said annoyed as she rolled over in her bed. "Please stop calling. I want to sleep." She said yelling at the ringing phone that had been ringing for the past half hour. She figured if she didn't pick it up it would stop but whoever it was kept calling. She gave up and picked it up. "Hello?" She said annoyed. "Danielle? Why didn't you pick up?" Danielle rubbed her face as she sat up in the bed. "AJ, if I could I would ring your neck right now. It's 7:30 in the morning."

"Sorry," AJ stated, "I just have some news and I couldn't wait to tell you." "Well? What is it?" Danielle asked. She wanted to make this as quick as possiable so she could go back to sleep. "I'm engaged!" He yelled into the phone. Danielle's sleepy eyes were now wide open. "To Gina?" She asked. "No, to Richard Simmons. Of course to Gina." AJ said laughing. Danielle smiled. "AJ, congratulations. I am so happy for you, you have no idea." AJ smiled at Gina who was laying next to him in bed smiling up at him. "You called your mother, right?" Danielle asked him. "Of course. She was the first person we called."

AJ then remembered something. "Oh my God, did you tell Brian last night?" Danielle smiled. "Yeah." AJ waited. "And?" "When I told him he got upset and left. So I cryed for like an hour then he came back and as soon as I opened the door he kissed me and told me he loved me too." AJ shot up in the bed. "Really? Danielle, that's awesome! I never wanted anyone to be together more than you two." AJ paused and looked at Gina. "Well besides me and Gina anyway. So, what now?" "He's going over Leighanne's today to break everything off. He's gonna stop by here later. I kinda of feel guilty for messing up his marriage."

"Don't be." AJ reassured her. "He would of married the wrong person. You two are meant for eachother." Danielle smiled. "Thanks AJ. I love you." "Love ya too. I'm gonna let you go so you can get back to your beauty sleep." "Okay AJ. Tell Gina congrats for me. Tell her to call me tomorrow, we can go shopping." AJ nodded. "Will do. Bye sweets." "Bye." Danielle hung up the phone and fell quickly back to sleep.

Later that day Brian stopped by Danielle's once again kissing her the moment she opened the door. He told her that everything was off with Leighanne. She took it really bad and told him she never wanted to see him again and was moving back to Atlanta in the following weeks. Brian knew by the next morning the news of his marriage being broken off would be all over the news so he told Danielle that they should let things die down a bit before starting anything. Danielle agreed and decided to help Gina plan her wedding to keep her mind off wanting to be with Brian. She knew it could be a few weeks before things die down.

The boys were releasing their new album in October and were going to be pretty busy after that so Gina and AJ decided to get married in September. That only gave them three months to plan for the wedding. Later in the week Danielle went with Gina to look at gowns. She picked out a few that she really liked and decided to bring her mom and AJ's mom when they go back for their opnions.

Danielle and Gina went to lunch together and discussed what they hoped their futures would be like. On the way home they blasted music and sang along with the words. When they stopped at a red light Gina turned down the music and looke dover at Danielle. "Can I ask you a favor?" Danielle nodded. "Yeah." "You know that you are my best friend right?" Danielle smiled. "Yeah." "I was hoping that maybe you could be my maid of honor." Danielle smiled widely and reached over to hug her. "Of course! Oh thank you!" Gina smiled. "No, thank you." Gina looked up and saw the light turn green. Danielle started dancing to her own song. "My cousin and best friend are getting married and I'm gonna me the maid of honor. Oh yeah, oh yeah." Gina laughed and sang along with her.
