~Chapter 1~

~*~Three Years Earlier~*~

"Over here! Over here!" The reporters shouted as Nick finished anwering the question. The Backstreet Boys sat along a table facing a crowd of reporters doing a Press Conference in Stockholm. Kevin pointed to a blonde woman in the front row. She stood and smiled. "How much time do you boys have off before you start the US tour?" The woman sat as AJ answered. "We have a month before the US tour starts, but we only get three weeks to ourselves. We have to do rehearsal the whole week before it starts." A representative from Jive stepped on the stage. "Okay, thats it. No more questions." The boys all stood and started to make their ways out of the room. The reporters still yelled and tried to get a few more questions in, but the boys just continued to walk.

The boys piled into their van and it pulled away and made its way to the arena where they would be performing in a few short hours. AJ, Kevin and Howie sat in the first seat and Nick and Brian sat in the back. Nick nudged Brian with his elbow and Brian turned his head to look at him. "So, are you going back home for our break?" Nick asked. Brian shrugged his shoulders. "I still haven't decided yet." Nick nodded. "I think you should. Go to the reunion, have fun. See old faces, and talk about old memories."

"I don't know." Brian sighed, "I mean, I want to but what if they just think of me as this snobby famous guy." "Then prove them wrong by going." Nick added. "I guess. I mind as well. Besides, I belong there as much as they do, right?" Brian said. Nick nodded. "Exactly."

Danielle helped her best friend, Gina, set the table for dinner. "You sure you and John don't mind me staying for dinner?" Gina rolled her eyes. "No. Just cause I'm married now doesn't change anything. Who cares what he thinks anyway. You're my best friend and your staying." She said with a smile. Danielle laughed as she poured iced tea into the glasses. "Besides, it was his idea anyway." Gina added.

A few moments later the food was on the table and Gina called to John that it was ready. He came out of the living room and joined the two women. "So, did he RSVP yet?" Gina asked. Danielle shook her head, knowing who she was talking about. "Nope." Danielle said. John rolled his eyes. "I'm right here." He said. "What? I'm still aloud to think someone his hot. Plus, I'm asking because he had a crush on Danielle." Gina said with a smile. Danielle laughed and put some Mashed Potatoes on her plate. "He didn't have a crush on me. I hardly think he will even remember me." She said. "You take care of the guest list?" John asked Danielle. Danielle nodded. "Yup. Had to find every single graduate and contact them some how. Mostly everyone responded. It's gonna be fun!" "And no dates aloud?" John asked Gina. Gina shook her head. "Nope, sorry."

The conversation turned and the food was quickly gone. When John was finished he returned to the living room and left the women to talk. "He will remember you." Gina said as she stood to clear the table. "Well even if he does, what do you think will happen? This is Brian Littrell we are talking about." Danielle said, helping her. "So what? He liked you a lot. I'm telling you the truth." Gina said smiling. Danielle just rolled her eyes. "How would you know? You said you hardly talked to him because he was only in one of your classes Junior year?" "I saw the way he would look at you. There was a sparkle in his eyes." Gina added. "Whatever." Danielle said as she placed the plates in the disherwasher.
