Danielle flipped through the magazine in her lap. She wasn't paying any attention to what was on the pages. Her mind was on so many other things. Danielle moved her gaze to Gina who sat next to her in the plane. She could hear Bush's 'Machine Head' blasting from her head phones as she staired out the window. Gina could feel Danielle watching her. Once she felt her gaze move away Gina looked over at Danielle.
She wanted to talk to her so bad. Gina knew she was hurt and confused and she wanted to be there for her. But she also knew they would just start to argue again. They were both equally stubborn. That's why Gina was glad they hardly ever fought. When they did they would just yell things at each other and neither would get their points across. Eventually in time they would just forget about the problem and move on.
This time, however, Gina didn't want to just move on. She wanted to make sure Danielle would be happy no matter the outcome of the situation. Gina slipped her headphone's off and smiled at Danielle. "Whatcha readin'?" She asked. Danielle sighed and quickly closed the magazine. She turned in her seat so she was facing Gina. "He told me he loves me. At first I thought it was something that he just said to just say it. I mean, you know during sex people just say things but don't really mean it, ya know. I figured he just threw it in there to spice up the mood."
Gina nodded. Danielle continued. "Well after everything was done I was laying in his arms and he whispered it in my ear. He was dead serious. I just pretened like I was asleep. About an hour later I woke up. He was dead asleep so I quickly snuck out and went back in our room. God, he probably hates me now."
"I didn't even see him. I went to say good-bye to the rest of they guys and they told me he was still sleeping. He'll just think we had to leave and we didn't want to wake him." Gina told her. Danielle nodded and touched Gina's arm. "I'm sorry about what I said before. I'm just so upset with myself right now." Danielle said.
"It's okay. I understand." Gina wrapped her arms around her best friend. "Do you still want him as a friend?" Gina asked. Danielle nodded. "I don't know what I want. I need to talk to him but I don't want to over the phone. I guess I have to wait a few weeks until they come to Lexington." Gina smiled. "That'll give you some time to think."
"What now?" Nick asked Brian as they sat in the back of the tour bus. Brian was sprawled out on the couch and Nick sat on the floor. Brian sighed and sat up a little. "I'm just gonna wait til we get to Lexington to talk to her. She needs time to think. I want her to decide what she wansts. Hopefully wha she wants is me and not Richard." Brian said.
"So, you're not gonna call her at all?" Nick asked. Brian nodded. "I don't think she would want me too. I just gotta give her time. Then, when I see her in a few weeks, she'll run to me and fall in my arms. She'll say she loves me and we'll live happily ever after." Nick laughed. "Pretty sure of yourself, huh?." Brian nodded. "You have to be when you're in love."
