Ashley's Dance Bio
I started dance when I was in the 3rd grade. I begged my mom to enroll me in a dance class because my best friend Megan took dance. So the following September we started dance at All That Jazz. I loved it!! I worked my way up from beginner to advance. I'm in the advance class at my studio, I've waited 10 years for this!
I've been dancing for 10 years. I've been taking ballet for 10 years, pointe for 6 years, Jazz for 8 years, Tap for 1 year and tumbling for 3 years. I took only ballet last year, because I was too busy with band and cheerleading I couldn't fit all the classes in.
From performance to performance, I've been a Marshin, An Orphan in Annie, Character from Star Wars, an Indian, Performing to Elvis Presley, Italian Dancer, Swan Lake, and Sleeping Beauty
Dancing is my life! When I graduate from High School I'm going to college to major in dance and someday become a professional Choreographer or a dance teacher.
Last years recital We did a song called "Childern" it's from the 'Dance Party 1997' it's a really Awesome dance, my teacher Danielle did a great job choreographing it. I was also in the finale dance, we did a song by Micheal Jackson with the little girls.
This year I attened Dance Masters of PA workshops in Pittsburgh they were alot of fun!! They taught me alot of new things and I've gained alot of experience from going to them. This is the last year I have at my dance studio I'm doing my first solo to a song called "Jazz It Up" it's alot of fun and I'll miss everyone at my dance studio!
